  • it's like putting OutRun and Super Hang-On 2gether and coming up with this!!

  • whats with the music sounds bad can not be compared to Outride a crisis of super hang on

  • I think this video right here was what inspired me to play this game. I didn't regret it. It's just plain fun. Too bad it never had a home port or anything, it's been buried in obscurity.

  • good find

  • weirded finger 3-2-1 countdown I've ever seen.

  • @blues03

I know what you mean... they were like drawing an anime style but did western afterwards that made it anatomically akward

  • coolgame, only the road rendering is sloppy

    i wonder why

  • Does anyone know if this was released in any of Sega's Ages Memorial series?

  • did this come out before road rash?

  • 2 years difference (RH in 1989 and RR in '91)

  • Thanks mate for the answer!

  • exelent ! i never saw this game, but i see they tried to do the POWER DRIFT trick on the track and it's surroundings. they even pan around the starting line like they do in PD :-) thanks for sharing this unknown game (for me it's unknown :-P)

  • look like outrun with bikes and the ferrari`s of course they had a ferrari toasteroadsta

  • this definately looks like it's worth the minute or so it will take to "aquire" it.

  • looks like a cool game, i have never heard of this one before though, hmm, well, thanks for the upload...

  • I...I don't believe this! Two of my all time favorite cars are in this game! The mighty Ferrari F40 and the beautiful BMW 635 CSL! I don't think Polygons could have made this any better!!

  • This is the first time I've seen cars and motorcycles in the same game but you play as the motorcyclist.

  • also enduro racer for the master system :)

  • Five months since posting a comment on this video previously, it shows up in my "Recommended for You" section. Never seen or played this game. It has to be pretty fun. I'm still totally spellbound with this game and how 3D is looks though this is a game from 1989. You don't seriously note the sprites until the rider hits the inside wall at 1:30. This is a testament to Sega's lovely use of sprites in games like Galaxy Force II, Power Drift, the After Burner series, the OutRun series, and others.

  • Sega's System 32 hardware was definitely a beast to be reckoned with during it's time :)

  • When I was a little kid in the 80s, as with many games, I actually thought you could reach the city in the background and hang out there.

  • I played this in Central Station arcade in Warrington UK when it was out. The music is a f**ing great cheesey Sega special with that unique 80s sound. Yeah so... great story Grandad.

  • cool!!

  • Dang, this looks like a 3-D game even though it isn't!

  • @Spikeman750

looks like they were trying a different approach by scaling the whole scene sprite including the road, instead of the technique in outrun where it was seperate. That explains the weird stripes on the road. They couldn't draw it diagonally like traffic because the scenery is static generated image.

My guess is that they used around 30 layers scaling after one other.

  • it's a cross between Out Run and Super Hang On

  • God it's so slow...

    MOPED HERO!

  • The phrase is that this game is LIKE Super Hang-On. This game is more like a more 3D-like version of Hang-On from an over-the-back view. Hang-On games are much faster than this, but it's very impressive. I've seen this YouTube video a number of times, and its quality still amazes me.

  • this aint nothing like super hang on.

  • Parece bueno, lo descargare.

  • what site did you use to get this game ??

  • i got it from rom-world . com

  • if i remember well, there was a telenovela which featured this game in the opening credits along with Secret Agent (the alternate name for Sly Spy)

  • was this one of them machines where you sat on a bike

  • no, no, no! Racing hero never played well, never FELT right... even though it was X years after Hang-On. Not one of the good ones in the first batch of Neo-Geo cartridges. Nam '75 and Magician Lord were the first good ones. Then 1-2 years later came the beat'em up... and the rest is history.

  • ok my bad it was a sega-32 game. eh....

  • r u using the steering wheel?

  • This is Outrun on a bike.

  • Its more like rad mobile

  • Better buy a high powered graphics card. Apparently this is one of those sega arcade games that has more then one processor to handle different portions of the game.

  • Love that game. I can see that you're using digital steering. This game is best played with analog(Proportional) steering for better control in cornering. Used to play this on MAME a lot XD

  • dammit put it on xbox live or playstation 2 i wanna play it

  • I like this game better than super hang-on. :)

  • yes me too :P

  • and i reckon easier too

  • Any given game is easier than Super Hang-on...
