Jimmy's cousin Jerry Lee Lewis went the other 'broad' road which leads to destruction... 'sex drugs and rock n roll'.... do you pick at him? do you list his countless sins one by one ? Nope... you just attack a man who stands for God...for a lapse in holiness, but who sincerely said "Oh Lord..against you have I sinned"... He who is without sin, cast the first stone at Jimmy. But feel free to criticize the rather opulant lifestyle he appeared to have led at one stage. Hopefully no longer.

It is a good thing we all don't have a little bell tied around our necks, for then we too, would be found out. i used to laugh about brother Jimmy Swaggart because of his failures ... but today i asked myself : am I any better than him ? I am not.

Anytime that visibility makes the sins of others seem despicable to the rest of us, I am reminded that if my sins were made public, that too would be disgusting...and yet we all stand naked before the God that not only created us but died for those very sins....but we rise up to cast stones none the less

I cried, not laughed when I heard Jimmy sodomized those woman using tithe money. I felt he blasphemed the Holy Ghost as he pretended to be filled and spoke in tongues when he sexually abused, misused his sexual dominance by going up their anuses.

@thedagonjones Well... I don't think detailing Jimmy's (real) sin as you did helps anyone. Why not have a go at say..... Julian Assange !!!!... If a man of God sins and then repents, it is better than a secular sinner who does not even recognize his own sin. He spits in the face of God by his supressing of the knowledge of God and going at breakneck speed on the highway to hell. You could even comment on ACDC lead who died in a pool of his own vomit.. then "'stopping now...@hell"

This is the foundation of our faith as Christians, yet it has some how lost its importance with most. Thank you for never losing sight of the cross and all that means for humanity!
