  • Done the navy seal workout of lunging back and forth with no weight two times down and back, with workouts in between, but this looks like a new challenge glad I came across this. Doubt I'd beat the time, but going to do it anyways... looks like a great exercise for baseball

    1 what hurt the most your quads or your glutes?

    2 how did you make the bulgarian sandbag?

  • both man. it will tear you up. quads, glutes, hams and all.

    and the sandbag is a car tire tube filled with a mixture of sand for weight and rubber mulch for some filler. the ends are just zip tied and taped

  • I didnt have a football field, but I did 100 walking lunges last night at bodyweight of 310. I had to stop 7 times before I finished. My legs are still like jello right now. Brutal!

  • Well done! That's got to burn in those legs. :) Looks more like a stamina and cardio thing than a strength challenge to me. :) It is a matter of will power imo. :)

  • To be honest this is quite do-able, just need some good legs to do it, its only 22 kilo's total thats not that much

  • Well, obviously it's do-able. We're watching him do it. Flying is quite do-able as well; just need the correct set of wings and muscles.

  • personally i wouldnt touch my knee to the ground while doing walking lunges i come 2-3inches off of the ground.

  • So what is a "good" lunge for this test? When I lunge, I try to get my trailing leg to touch the ground, but if I was going for time, obviously, it would be faster, and easier to do it like the video.

  • I was just trying to go as low as i could without smashing my knees on the field.

    Didn't want to bang my knees up.
