I didnt have a football field, but I did 100 walking lunges last night at bodyweight of 310. I had to stop 7 times before I finished. My legs are still like jello right now. Brutal!
Well done! That's got to burn in those legs. :) Looks more like a stamina and cardio thing than a strength challenge to me. :) It is a matter of will power imo. :)
So what is a "good" lunge for this test? When I lunge, I try to get my trailing leg to touch the ground, but if I was going for time, obviously, it would be faster, and easier to do it like the video.

both man. it will tear you up. quads, glutes, hams and all.
and the sandbag is a car tire tube filled with a mixture of sand for weight and rubber mulch for some filler. the ends are just zip tied and taped

To be honest this is quite do-able, just need some good legs to do it, its only 22 kilo's total thats not that much

personally i wouldnt touch my knee to the ground while doing walking lunges i come 2-3inches off of the ground.
