Forest Place, Fire Place & Sand Place they same Places exist in other Zelda Games only the Sky Place is something new almost all of the weapons were reused aswell. The dungeons looked good but again they were similiar to other Zelda Games. The only thing that i really liked were the music the rest was mostly rehash.

@htdmc2010 Are the dungeons exactly the same? Dungeons based on elements are a series constant, as are the similar items. Remove them, or replace them, and it just isn't a Zelda game any more. It's a tradition, not a rehash.

If i wanted to play the same thing again i could play the other games. Changes into a game needs to be done otherwise it would not make any sense to play it. I am not saying change the concept of it but changing Places or weapons or atleast making a good story. The Dungeons are different but in the same time they are the same places and look similiar. @htdmc2010 It's not really either, they are using the same setting and concept to make similar dungeons, which turn out different in practice due to the style of the games they are in and the environment of this version of the dungeon. The Forest Temples in TP and ST have similarities, but the different games make them very unique. The dungeons in SS are different in setting from those in other games, so they have a unique feel to them. It is a matter of taste to an extent, but rehash is a bit

Skyview is more like a combination of the Forest and Water temples from Twilight Princess and Ocarina of Time than a direct rehash of a specific dungeon from a specific previous game. In addition, Skyward Sword has a different environment than either of those games, and I find that the dungeons are very different in practice than those in other games.

@htdmc2010 I'm not saying they don't use elements from previous games more than adding new things in, but they do a good job of keeping things fresh most of the time by introducing new settings, mechanics, and story elements to the games when they do so. It still is a matter of opinion, but reviews from critics and customers alike seem to find Skyward Sword new and interesting, not a total rehash of previous games (which you might not have meant, but it can come across that way).

For new gamers who haven`t played older zelda games they will like it alot and the game is good nonetheless it is mostly a rehash for gamers who have played older zelda games. Lets be honest even you thubk they reused stuff from older games. Of course it had some new stuff but not much and story was the same again save the princess. I heard miyamato wants to do other stuff or even retire maybe he even felt that he can`t do something different anymore.

@htdmc2010 I know they reuse elements a lot; I was just trying to say that rehash is a bit harsh, and is not entirely accurate. Rehash implies that they make the game only from old elements, while the closest thing to a rehash (that wasn't a direct sequel) was TP. TP was intended to be similar to OoT to give old gamers something familiar, while new games would really be moving forward. I'm not trying to be contrary, just saying that Zelda is a series. W/out that feel, it's not Zelda.

Yeah TP was the same thing as OOT with wolf changing theme that pissed me off. Skyward sword has some changes and yeah i might sound very harsh but i am not satisfied. It is very similiar again but the mass flood of text and the Backtracking are making things even worse. I am not saying it is a bad game and i give it 6.5/10 but it is just not as good as other zelda games. If the next zelda game isn`t any better than this i will  avoid Nintendo and their games.
