@newyorkyankeef4n1018 Yeah man...since the shooting of this video I have removed the orange from the gun...a little bit of alcohol and a sharp razor blade allowed me to just gently peel/scrape it off w/out damaging the finish at all...

as for the upgrades, pretty much Valves, TB, bucking, loading nozzle...thats all you really need...mbk for under 200 is gonna be hard tho

Its hard to get the orange off of this type of finish w/out completely ruining it...ive since removed it after talking to several ppl about how to get it off...the best means i found to get it off was rubbing alcohol and a flat razorblade. Gently peel the paint up with it after softening with the alcohol...

yeah, its perfectly fine...the chrome is all the way to the tip...like i said in the comment above...rubbing alcohol to soften up the orange paint...then a flat razorblade to gently peel it up...its not that hard...just takes a lot of time and care

I didn't get the high flow valves because i have 3X mags and it would cost a lot to put high flows on all of them.

BTW what's "bucking"? (my eng is a bit rusty)

The bucking is the piece of rubber that gives the bb hopup. it pushes down into the barrel and the bb gets spin from it...if your bucking is worn out it could be causing the problem...

Hi!

I have a problem with my desert eagle and i was wondering that you might be able to help me. I own a TM desert eagle and the power of it is very low for some reason .. (even tough i put a metal slide on it and guarder loading muzzle and better hammer spring) it still manages only to penetrate only one side of a can (or some times both sides) using YELLOW gas. And wen it was new it penetrated the bottom of the can .... so it has lost power by upgrading?

well, there could be several things:

1)the metal slide is heavier therefore requiring more gas to move it back

2) you do not have highflow valves

3)your mags arent lining up correctly with the new nozzle, letting gas escape...

4)nozzle isnt lining up with bucking right

5)bucking is worn out

6)mag lip seals are wearing out

those are some things i could think of off the top of my head. sadly, upgrading often comes with frustrating troubleshooting and often doesnt work right the first time

dude... the gun doesn't actually get stronger if you change the slide. it actually gets weaker. First you need to buy a high flow valve, THEN you can change the slide and recoil springs :p

Lol i understand that .50 guns can't really support a silencer, but this is an airsoft pistol. And since it shoots 6 mm bb's, the hole is .223 size which is why I can use my .223 cleaning/unjamming rod down it.

youre totally bullshit...if a pistol starts at 350 fps...400fps is EASY to obtain if you know what youre doing...with hiflows, tightbore, the right hopup bucking...and a lot of efficiency tweaking...400 with a warm green gas mag is definately possible...i have a pair of these that have a 200+ft range and that are sitting at about 415fps

sorry, but youre completely wrong. I have personally chronoed this gun at well over 400 fps with a warm mag. Don't like it, too bad...nobody is forcing you to watch this video. With all the parts in that gun, plus tweaking it is VERY possible to get 400 fps out of a GBB.

Your crazy for putting green gas through a TM GBB; it's way too powerful for the gun to handle. I owned the Sig 226 and sold it cause of how hard it is to obtain HFC 134a.

That's pretty crazy that it survived 8 years. My Sig lasted two years and I pampered it too. I've had the best luck with KWA GBB's after installing aftermarket parts.

for bb's, you can use .20's...I use .25's in mine for greater accuracy, but .20s should be fine for you...

If you have not changed the slide to a metal one, then you cannot use green gas for long because the pressure is too high. This gun was made to use 134a "Predator" gas. Eventually the power will die down.

nooo...dont use CO2 in TM guns...they're plastic and will be severely damaged if you use C02. they cant handle the stress of the high pressure. you need a metal kit for the DE if youre gonna run CO2

i would not use red gas...ive achieved 400+ fps with proper valving...seeing TM guns are plastic body...they dont even recommend green, but ive used it successfully for years now...as for sights...i just use the stock ones...theyve worked fine for me...so i dont really know what else is out there...

Well form what I've read from TM, it's oil based paint. If so, it can be removed with nail polish remover.... or oil paint remover from an arts and crafts shop.... at least I think so. It's worth a try, I love DE's, I just ordered one of these bad boys, but the orange tip doesn't cut it for me.
