Speed channel... Yeah, looks like yet another one of their garbage productions. I bet they still do 3 minutes of content, 10 minutes of commercials.
Wannabe reality shows that are about as much reality as I have a unicorn cock growing out of my head. Oh, how we are so quickly spiraling towards Idiocracy. Where's "Ow, my balls"? When does that air?
I agree, and nothing pissed me off more to leave my truck immaculate, then come back to see it dirty as hell and everything moved around from where I keep it........but i dont start throwing my shit around like a baby when that happens either............
@doubleitp Some would think but I think they do quite a bit of editing to have a show worth watching. That kind of lash out does happen though. Operators are protective of their trucks.
@Mopar4lyfe09 No doubt, A little expensive & maybe a wait, But no biggie, He should have told him to have a coke and a smile and shut the fk up, lol..
You are kiddin' me right? ~ WOW! - That show makes all of us look so bad, no one can really be as stupid as some of these guys act on that show, I mean really..
The two guys that snapped the pin should have put a new one in. Should only take a couple of minutes to do it. For the idiot yelling like the snapped the truck in half, well he is just an idiot.
All that drama over a pin? I would tell tryke to shut up. And if bill had a problem just tell him to put down the fucking sandwhich a buy a pin. Fat fucker. What a bunch of losers.
@wsbowdown1 Well A: the pin isn't one you can just buy at your local hardware. B: The pin isn't cheap nor a fast fix. C: Any down time is a loss of money. You can't make money towing trucks when your tow truck is broke.
@killer2600 thats true, but no truck is busy 24/7 anyway, and if any shop doesnt have one or two backup trucks, then they shouldnt be in business.........
@Bigwill6363 thats true but it also comes down to principle because THAT truck is your assigned truck, your baby, your money maker, and if it breaks there's no guarantee your boss will give you a backup. You might be the one fixing your truck. All in all it's a piss off when others use your stuff without asking and then break it.
I have been in the heavy recovery business for almost thirty years, I work with a W45 Holmes, 600 Holmes, and a 602 Century, and do every DAMN thing that I could ever want or need to do. I would be ashamed and close my shop if I couldn't do any more than you guys can do with ALL of your fancy hydraulic wreckers! ! !
To start with the boss should have bought a BRO WRECKER but a 5/8s T bar lock pin will be beyond his skills to make a new one.But i bet the one with the big mouth as set off before now with a truck on tow with that pin in until he hears a bang at the first corner
I can't believe the guy was whining so loudly about a broken pin. I'd never work for such a psycho. Broken parts are a normal aspect of doing business, which is why most have spares on hand or can obtain them from known sources quickly. If he can't accomplish that, he needs to find another business - preferably working alone until he works out his anger issues.
i will fired this yelling guys, its not to the employee to create is own justice to this kidd, the owner of the compagny is the guys they can make the talk for thaht, the crazy guys here take it a little to personal,
he does'nt have a fricken dime invested in that truck and he"s pissed....wtf you get paid to drive it and as long as he didnt break it then whats the big deal?? ASS!!
For those who say "just replace the part. It's only $200." YOU"RE NOT GETTING IT!!!!!
Repairs cost money. Yeah, the part costs $200, but the downtime will cost at least ten times more than that! Not to mention, your truck and equipment is your bread-and-butter. If it's broken, you're not working and feeding your family.
Oh wow piased over a 200 doller part on work truck that charges how much per hour lol dude is a bitch fix ur truck be glad job he right after more then paid for it oh and nobody was hurt flipping it cry baby
I agree ! what a bunch of childish bs ! Its not like its the end of the world when a pin breaks, better there than on the road in a situation where you actually need the truck ! Appears to me its all staged though ...
@piglett2195 the problem with them is 1 theyre on TV so they act like idiots 2 the new breed of towman just dont know what to do if they cant use their precious under reach. gee how ya think it was done before all the fancy new stuff
I'M A HEAVY TOW DRIVER AND I'VE SEEN MANY OF THESE SHOWS AND THESE GUYS ARE MORON'S. THEY GO WAY OVERKILL ON EVERY ONE OF THEIR RECOVERY'S
