  • This man is clueless must be tone def, he should at least recorded some good cadence before talking trash. What was on this video was garbage. I got love for the PI Marines but this guy made yall look like a bag of ass id be pretty upset if someone was uploading shitty videos and calling them the best... Heinous

  • seriously marines, calm down with the PI vs SD shit. its fine to poke fun at eachother. we do it all the time. but both MCRDs make marines. so calm down

  • Video is stupid and unnecessary. As the country isn't divided enough with an idiot in the oval office we got to have Marines claiming there training is tougher than the others. San Diego is just as tough as PI....and I graduated from PI in 1993.

  • wow,REAL Marines at Parris island uh?..and you know this about san diego Marines how?..thats what i though pussy..Shut up about things you know nothing about asswipe

  • United States Navy, mens division =P

  • WHATEVER.... In Parris Island, you Devil Dogs don't know what hills and mountains are. Places like Bitch Ridge, Mount Muther Fucker, etc. We don't have sand fleas in San Diego because we are not retarded enough to go someplace where there are sand fleas. And, correct me if I am wrong, doesn't 4th Battalion train there; you know, the female Marines?

MCRD San Diego, Lima Company, Platoon 3134, Senior Drill Instructor Sergeant Gray 1986 Ooh-Rah!!!

  • @ssgtflo Good sir,

what the hell is wrong Female Marines?

A Marine is a marine. thank you very much.

  • @XXwhoknowsXX81 Okay sure. I am not in so I don't have to be politically correct anymore. If a Marine is a Marine why are there no female grunts??? Yeah they can serve as supporting roles, but it's not the same. I respect most female Marines and the comment of 4th Battalion was meant as a joke so don't be all serious now.

  • @ssgtflo someones clueless

  • @XXwhoknowsXX81 completely agree

  • @ssgtflo ooh rah Devil dog

  • @ssgtflo .....we didn't have hills..and the sand fleas were pets....and the use of the word "retarded" is not allowed in the marines...because after war some will be that way...I was $th Battalion and it was a while back...in my thirties...I would love to show a "hollywood marine" how tough a female is...and out think out train and out smart them all...i want a challenge!

  • Did anyone see the recruit at 3:10 reach for his neck.

  • That's why I love the old uniform. The old jungle boots we were issued were awsome. Sounded like a freight train when you drove that heel. Not so much with the new boots.

  • 2nd battalion 2022 platoon 91 rifle range 4 hours of torture to the heavy drill instructor. half the platoon passed out on floor when senior walks in. only time i ever heard one drill instructor ever get theyre butt chewed and sent home. and never ever be there for your birthday lol oh man that was a long damned day. and at lights out to have one the senier whisper happy birthday in your ear lol.

  • oh FUCK no!!! This motherfucker at 3:10 just touched his face.

  • I don't know who reading this has been to PI but I can smell the place looking at this video.

  • @groundpounder35 Never been to PI, but graduated from SD. Don't know what the environment smells like at PI, but I for goddamn sure know what the emotions smell and feel like. It's all the same homey.

  • @elucero1775 Yeah, it doesn't matter where you went to MCRD, you got what I meant and I thank you.

    Semper Fi

  • @sadlycan don't ask don't tell I guess. Maybe you should try moving to SF, more of your type there.

  • thats right, i went to bootcamp MCRD SD 2nd btn in october 99, graduated jan 2000, reported ten days later to SOI- ITB, and somehow im still in high school.

you chose to mouth off instead of correcting yourself. perhaps you old salt dogs from the 80s only had SOI. when i was there, it was broken down SOI- ITB-MCT

    im out

  • Look at that nasty puke at 3:08... he scratched his noise. He could get his fire team or his whole squad killed! Paris island is weak. Give me a Hollywood marine any day.

  • @russvr6 hahahaa san diego can suck a dick Oorah Parris Island

  • @sadlycan have you actually ever been to bootcamp? or are you a fucking troll?

  • And you PI assholes should try running up a 45 degree hill or five while wearing a 50 lb. Alice pack. Fucking arrogant backcountry assholes.

  • @elucero1775 backcountry? Most east coast recruits come from the inner cities and suburbs

  • @Vidinotes Completely irrelevant.

  • @sadlycan That's what I thought you fake fuck.

  • Parris Island July of 1962. 1st Recruit Training Battalion.Wooden two story barracks right on the edge of a swamp leading to the Ocean. Always the blistering heat. That big parade ground with the Iwo Jima memorial. Close order drill & P.T. in stifling heat. The week of hell at the range, the long wearying march to Eliot's Beach, sweating out the final field inspection & drill competition. Why do I remember it as such a good time? Once a Marine, always a Marine. Semper Fi.

  • @fxo369 SEMPER FI, MAC.

  • @fxo369 Semper Fi devil dog

  • @fxo369 I remember that barracks well. We were on the front side and could see the grinder from the windows. I also watched a lot of graduations from there too.

  • SD Oct 2004, me.

SD Sept 1965, my old man.

    SD all the way, rahhhh!!!

  • 03:07 SO WE WANT TO TOUCH OUR FACE IN FORMATION DURING DRILL, RECRUIT? GOOD...DON'T WORRY...DADDY AINT HOME TONIGHT!

  • @dalton22490 BAAAAAHAHAHAHAHAA... Oh the memories

  • @dalton22490 I saw that. He'll pay.

  • @dalton22490 that turd had no discipline whatsoever. woulda gotten slayed in my day...

  • some pretty sad COD. F'd up marching. F'd up dress. Nasty guides. I mean nasty guides. I'd would have had the guide broken over my head if I pulled some of that shit. And yes, look at the rag-man at 3:10.

  • that guy did not have the same boots on why is that

  • @Robbob9933 im just sayin

  • brings back my days at P.I. back with plt 1022 1966.

  • is it just me or are those guides off like hell?

  • OOOOOOOH he scratched a flea at 3:10! Smoke him!

  • How do you get to be able to hold the USMC flag when marching at boot camp? I want that honor when I enlist in October and go to Parris Island. Semper Fidelis Marines!

  • @Jstfm1 thats the series guide-on. usually the platoon in the series that won the most recent event gets to carry it around whenever you travel as a company. so if your platoon earns it then your Senior will pick someone in your platoon whos worthy to carry it. just bust your ass and show leadership and it might be you

  • @revue67 Okay I will bust my ass and then some more, thank you for the reply and information

  • Comment removed

  • Let me commend you on joining the USMC. What you are going to be doing in Oct. will most likely be the hardest thing you have EVER done in your life, so far. Remember that you earn the title of United States Marine, it is not given. Holding the flag, should be the last thing on your mind. Once you place your feet on those yellow footprints your life will be forever changed. Learn what your recruiter has advised you to learn and make sure you are physically ready. I wish you well, recruit!

  • @josiesbell1 Thank you for those words and advice. I really appreciate it, I will be the third generation to be a Marine. It is a great honor I would like to fulfill and to make myself proud. I am almost physically prepared, I am motivated to earn the Globe and Anchor and to become a Marine, by October I should be in top shape ready for a new life as a Marine. But thanks for the comment, it gave me a new perspective on going to Parris. Semper FI friend!

  • Comment removed

  • I am a Parris Island Marine myself but i dont see the logic in saying that east coast training is much harder than west coast training. A drill instructor is a drill instructor no matter where they are and they are some creative mother fuckers.

  • @RobertsBlake You apparently have no humor. It is a running joke. San Diego has the dispair of the airport right next door. PI has the dispair of being out in middle of a swamp and the hour and a half drive from the airport for some reason takes 4 hours. SD gets sunscreen, PI gets bug repellant. SD gets hot in summer, PI gets hot and f'n humid. SD is nice in winter, PI is cold as F***. The winner is PI with the power morphin, bug repellant eating, back of the neck bite'n sand fleas.

  • i think i recognise one of the D.I.s i was at P.I. in 98

  • Sand fleas? A mere breath mint for REAL MARINES!!! MCRD SAN DIEGO PLATOON 1055, GRADUATED 27 AUGUST 1982. PI is a nice resort on the east coast. Nice place though. Orah!!

  • @MyIsamar Plt 4031, that is 4th RTB only at PI and for females only. You look pretty male in your profile.

  • @Robbob9933 i look like a male??? ha,ok.. i dnt know what ur talking about?

  • You had to mention sand fleas. That caused an instantanious sharp drilling pain on the back of my neck.

  • Best time to come and visit the sand fleas is in July and Aug :)

  • @hancockben They were extremely active in Oct, Nov, Dec, and Jan. After 33 years the pain can still be felt.

  • damn hope i dont get sent there lol

  • @chatanwarrior Do you live on the Eastern side of America or the Western side?

  • @TaCtIcSfTw1 east, im in mississippi lol :D

  • @chatanwarrior Well, good luck in Parris Island. :3

  • @TaCtIcSfTw1 lol thanks hopefully i can go soon

  • at 2:20 i bet that short one is the worst one to try to mess with lol short people will fuck you up i'd hate to come across a short marine lol

  • lol "you tell him what it do!"

  • I am afraid today in America there are a lot of Hollywood Marines ... well educated with no skills and little self discipline and self respect and thats whats lacking in society..no real leadership ..

  • I AM IN THIS VIDEO!!!!! Holy crap I never knew this existed!!

  • Oo fucking rah to that brother. I love the ragging on the Hollywood Marines.. "wwaahh but we had hills... " Ya w.e, you try running around in a swamp for 3 months in 120 degree weather..

  • 4:12 shitted on them badly lol

  • At 3:10 mother fucker scratching his face. Bring his ass over to the side and IT his ass lol

  • My Grandfather went through Parris Island during World War 2. He said, there were so many people going through, they had to train in civilian clothes for the first 2 weeks. And most of the Drill Instructors were privates like them. They had only been in the Marine Corps for about 6 months. They would pick a couple top graduates, put them through a short DI school. And start training. Since most of the Sergeants were over in combat.

  • Brings back memories!! Plt 139, PISC, 1962. Semper Fi!! "The safest place in Korea was behind a platoon of Marines. Lord how they could fight!" Major General Frank Lowe, United States Army.

  • he has the coolest everrr gah.

  • Only pogues care about where they went to bootcamp.

5th Marine Regiment - Where REAL Marines serve.

  • @LINQ0311 Typical grunt, no one else is a Marine (until you are pinned down, crying for your mother and need close air support. Then, anyone that can help is a Marine).

  • @IEKUKATAKA ummm no.

  • @IEKUKATAKA Or arty, armor, food, water, fuel, ammo, money, medical, weapon. Grunts may be the tip of the spear but without the rest of the spear, they are useless. Also, the rest of the spear is a very useful weapon. Wasn't a grunt but was qualified as a TOW section leader and 60mm mortor section leader. Proficient with most other grunt tools. Funny thing is I never seen a grunt cross trained into my trade but a GT of 110 isn't the realm of too many grunts.

  • @Robbob9933

did you not learn all Marines are 0300? no matter what mos you are you are still a 0300 even the fly boys.

Cpl. of Marines nam 67-68 b/ btry 1/12 3rd mar div Tet 68

  • @reverandbliss I was referring to all those full time grunts that disrespect all Marines not full time grunt. I was in the transition from Post-Vietnam to "Modern" Marine Corp with all DIs being 'Nam vets. My Btln Commander on PI was LtCol Christmas of Hue City fame. We were 'raised' that a Marine was a Marine and that was all that mattered. Besides my non-grunt MOSs, I was fully qualified as TOW section leader, 61mm mortorman, M60 gunner, and infantry squad leader. (cont)

  • @reverandbliss negative. Only POGs say that. All Marines are riflemen. Not all Marines are 03. If you're 03, then you went to SOI and only 03's go to SOI. So, the wingers and motor T and all the freqs and all the arty and the rest can say they are riflemen, but that doesn't make them Grunts. You must have been a POG.

  • @sanchojds every marine goes to SOI

    WE GO TO ITB

  • @0311GRUNT are you crazy? No, only Marines with a combat arms MOS go to SOI. Every Marine goes to MCT, if that's what you mean.

  • @sanchojds were/are you a marine???

  • @0311GRUNT Damn right I'm a Marine? Why? No need to explain anything Chesty, I'm fully aware . You said all Marines go to SOI. That is factually inaccurate. All Marines do not go to SOI, only those with Combat Arms MOS do. All Marines go to MCT. You talked out of your ass, so admit it and be done with it.

  • @sanchojds you really are a FUCKIN dumb fuck. i couldnt break it down any easier for you, fuckin window-licker! get your fuckin stupid ass wanna be Marine off this shit and learn a fuckin thing if youre gonna pretend to be one. you stupid fuckin monkey, get the fuck out of here! keep those manpleasing hands of the keyboard, bitch

what "SOI" did you supposedly go to? come on Google that shit, fuckin waste of life, POSER!!!

SOI ITB "BROKEN" BRAVO (the REAL grunts co.)

    EAT A DICK MOTHERFUCKER

  • @0311GRUNT just another highschooler trolling, I see. That's okay. You can look tough on here and cuss and insult people and all that. It doesn't get you very far, now does it? You can do it though.

  • @sanchojds Looks like you are confused. All Marines go to SOI after boot camp. 03xx MOS go to Infantry Training BN (ITB) and all others go to Marine Combat Training BN (MCT). SOI also has AIT BN for schools like sniper and LAV as well as other courses.

  • @MarineCWO I was only trying to say that POGs go to MCT and Grunts go to SOI. SOi being the full deal. Maybe I said it wrong but that's what I meant. This other dipshit got on here and cussed me out for it. All I meant was the non combat arms went to the first phase and then shipped to their schools while the grunts stayed for the last phase.

  • @sanchojds SOI is the School of Infantry, ALL marines have to report there after boot. once you are at SOI, you are divided.

03's go to ITB (Infantry Training Battalion)

all others including yatyas, and arties go to MCT (Marine Combat Training)

  • @reverandbliss woops, never mind the last question, I see in your post now that you were a POG. Thanks for your service, Devil, but you were 08 not 03.

  • What is the drill instructor singing ?

  • Marines, home of the brave, and the tough, Semper Fi "Always faithful" is taught, and thats not a bluff!!. Marines are mighty so true. Honor, Courage and commitment is so true, it's all about protecting the red,the white, and the blue!!!. Marines will never break or bend, they're ready to fight destroy and defend. We are proud of our military everyday, Army, Navy, Air Force, and Marines, let freedom ring, everyday I say, band of brothesr, OOOOH RAH!!!, and God Bless the USA!

  • haha we have "hills" whom my fellow east coast marines call mountains

  • Miss It 3090 In 1999 0311 and 0351 1999-2004

  • Oooooooohhhhh Noooooooo recruit at 3:10!!!! Quarterdeck!

  • whoa whats up with that nasty at 3:10?

  • @santiherrera1535 Whoa!!

  • @santiherrera1535 I was wondering the same exact thing. I also wonder how he got away with it with out having a D.I. in each ear. They must've known they were on video. I'm sure he paid for that some how.

  • @santiherrera1535 That would have sent the whole squad to the pit in my day to properly bury that sand flea. A burial session usually lasted 20 minutes.

  • @santiherrera1535 PT, that's what's gonna be up with it.

  • @santiherrera1535 I know others that wanted to scratch their disgusting faces. Straight disgusting.

  • @santiherrera1535

At first I thought he was being a smart ass and waving but I replayed it and having been a recruit at P.I I believe he was swatting a sand flea. Our platoon was marching once and a sand flea landed on my ear lobe and started biting the hell out of me so very carefully I smacked it and the D.I. saw it. Not good. The whole platoon had to do push-ups right there on the road. Never did it again. The D.I. said, "I don't come to your

house and kill your pets!-DON'T KILL MINE!"

  • @santiherrera1535 Must be 1st battalion! ;)

  • Oh I see, we're bashing on Hollywood Marines. I get it. lol. went to schools at Del Mar. so I got shown the Cally life soon after boot camp. you guys did have it a lot better. And I don't wanna hear about Mt. Mutherfucker either. I humped it too. Go try Fuji and you'll miss good ole Mutherfucker.

  • @wvufanngarner both the Eastern and Western have slightly different things they do in bootcamp based on the 2 different landscapes and environments but both are equally hard in every way

  • @Arcainenify Agreed bro. Just love that the spirit of PI vs SD is still so much alive. It's a rivalry unmatched in any of the services. Once I got into the fleet, some of my best buddies were "Hollywood" Marines. Pendelton was one of the worst places for me though. Seemed to be going to the stumps a lot when I was there.

  • ok yes i salute the marine i wanna be one BUT SAN DIEGO DOES THE SAME SHIT AS PARRIS ISLAND

  • @itzYourBoyb are you talking shit on every marine video you see?

i told you little high school kid, get on the frontlines

fight next to a marine youve known ever since you joined the corps and watch him die

then come and tell me what we do. tell me how my brothers are dying if we're not fighting anyone. you ignorant kid thinking you know everyhting. you dont know shit. you're back in the states away from all of this away from death.

  • @JullianChua BAh...don't waste your time Devil Dog...He ain't worth the breath that comes out of your mouth. He's just some Liberal pussy that is to scared to stand up for America. In 20 years he'll look at his life and think what a panty waste he was/is, we won't ever have that problem. Semper Fi

  • @itzYourBoyb u don't know anything.. quit beleiveing the media.. when u serve u'll know what we do and dont.. but i doubt u would.. not many have the ballz or ovaries to do what we do.. quit looking at the negative... we do a lot of positive.. u act like the military only do bad things.. bad people do bad things being in the military or NOT!! I love being a Marine!! errraahhhh!!!!

  • @itzYourBoyb Troll.

  • @TheIronicBanana lol your the only one who notice i was trying to troll out of the almost 50 videos i copy and paste my same comment to quickly i wouldnt dare mean what i said but i know its a stupid thing to do

  • @itzYourBoyb haha wow.

  • @1987Challenger3 They're all Marines either way.

  • @YaikonMetal a gun is a gun either way. but I rather have one made in America than Mexico

  • @1987Challenger3 Oh no you didn't Gyrene. You mean Camp Pendleton/ San Diego was'nt tough! Don't let Cali fool Marine! I was there in 1982. Recruits falling out of forest marches, kicking them selves for joining the Corps, and hating their drill instructors! MCRD San Diego was the metal to forge men into Marines! PI is nice though!

  • OOOOORAH Parris Island!!! Home sweet home!!! .

  • i got love for all military personal but marines gott stop saying this ignorant ass shit yall say yall are NOT the onyl people fighting wars army loses men just like yall in combat i dont disrespect no man who can go over there and shoot at enemies

  • What a scum bag

  • At 3:10 this nasty recruit reaches up to scratch his face. If I was his DI, he would get THRASHED!!!

  • @SakranMM AHHH, the Pit, the good old days at MCRD!! Getting thrashed was "fun". Puddles of sweat so thick we could swim them!

  • in the Vietnam War, the Viet Cong made a point to NEVER be captured by a platoon of Marines. the reason for this was that they heard about the Marine Corps training and skill, ad they were afraid that if they were captured, the Marines would cook them and eat them.

  • The few?? There are like 250,000 of these zombies.

  • @Zaxxen69 and how many soldiers?

    yeah, so shut your mouth

  • nothing like a pure marine
