They ball follow a basic formula. There is always a web swing, and spider swing, a launcher, a web throw, and a hyper. If you think about it that way, it just seems like a bunch of small hits added in here and there.

I have to say almost all of the spidey combos are well above basic level. Even a simple web swing to jH, jS, sM will take most people a long time to get down let alone web throw into otg. Actually spidey combos in general are a lot harder than the majority of the MvC3 cast.

You can tell who doesn't play Spider-man by the people flipping out over these combos. There's only one that appears to be 100% people, this isn't spectacular! They're good combos, don't get me wrong, but he calls them "basic" for a reason, and if you played Spidey a bit you'd realize that. Spider-man has mad combo potential. Trust me. ;)

Following web throw with max spider is just so freakin hard. I can land it maybe one out of every twenty times I try. And that assist into double web throw at 2:04 is some of the craziest shit i've ever seen. Much respect.

web throw got nerfed and buffed at the same time. I remember it barely used to scale if at all so you could kill people on web throws alone. Now it's comboable without Shuma or Doom which makes Spidey more of a complete character and definitely a better point character.

I used to run Spidey/Doom/Shuma for the gimmicky OHKO combos it provided but still it was hard to find an opening. Spidey is definitely better off this way.

I'm so jealous. Every time I'm in the lab I do the weak web swing 3 piece into the jump combo and web zip but i never connected after the web zip without fierce spider sting, which ruins my chances at the corner web throw. But I knew it could be done, let it die, and now you've done it!

Too bad Spiderman will never see that much usage. Personally he's one of my favorite Marvel characters but with fast guys like Wolverine on the ground who put out way more damage or slightly weaker but more agile characters like Firebrand who have the same general two combo kill, Spidey is just in that median where he seems to pale in comparison. I still might give him a try though, nice video.

its pretty basic as soon as you get the inputs and timing down. the inputs alone are pretty basic its just the timing to catch them all in the combo is what is more intense.

@ZhangHe2369 yes it is an L web throw. It has to be juggled though so you can land before the opponent with enough time to catch them.
