Secondly, segregating them is strategic makes things easy. For one, you don't need to segregate the rooms they sleep in based on team THEN by sex.

Finally, if Gordon Ramsay was sexist, he'd be treating his male counterparts with more respect than his female ones. He apparently does not.

Sexism is a two way street and many males within the media are openly sexist against their own gender, partly because they aare terrified of the loony paranoid women around them, who accuse any man who refuses to grovel to women as if they were the Queen of Sheba of being sexist and partly because they want women's favouritism which others have already suggested.
