I live in South Texas close to the Mexican border and for my health care needs I go to Mexico. I pay about 40usd to see a private practice general doctor who studied in the US and if I cant afford that I would go one of the subsidized public doctors for about 3usd and get much better service and medicine than with a US doctor. It is crazy that if I want to see the doctor in the US i have to pay an insane amount just for consultation and then wont even be able to afford the medicine!!

I got to disagree with Max on the health care issue. The GOP blocked what most people wanted the "public option."
Fox news rebranded the public option as government run health care and then the GOP blocked it in the Senate.. 63% of Americans still either favor obama-care or think it should be MORE liberal(ie public option).
I am a free market guy through and through, but not when it comes to grandma or the kids health care. Then the profit motive needs to be removed.

I think we should be looking at the serious facts, and there is nothing to indicate that JFK was any better than his predecessors or successors on either foreign or domestic related policies. I live in South Texas close to the Mexican border and for my health care needs I go to Mexico. I pay about 40usd to see a private practice general doctor who studied in the US and if I cant afford that I would go one of the subsidized public doctors for about 3usd and get much better service and medicine than with a US doctor. It is crazy that if I want to see the doctor in the US i have to pay an insane amount just for consultation and then wont even be able to afford the medicine!!
