  • My original fish came from a local Koi dealer, usually just folks around town who buy them in quantities online.

But now I raise my own, and keep the very best for myself. Check out my other vids, you can see some of them for yourself.

  • where do you get you fish then, walmart?

  • I've never paid more than 60 bucks for a koi.

  • how much do those fish cost???? GREAT JOB!

  • Thanks, yeah, i miss it. I moved and made a new one, but I'll never duplicate that one.

  • i hope you took the fishies with you......

  • Nice pond man, one of the best i've ever seen.

  • Thanks. Looks like you know your koi!

  • very nice video, very nice fish too !!!

I saw some Goshiki, hi utsuri, goromo.

    nice place to stay :P

  • NICE!!

  • You can't let the surface freeze over, so you have to keep a spot open with an air pump or a small fountain pump. The koi hibernate and you don't have to feed them for 5 months! Another bonus is, the nasty parasites and evil bacteria also hibernate.

  • I always wondered what happened to ponds with koi on winters at places that snows! Incredibly hardy fish they are it seems. Isn't the ice bad for them? How cold is too cold for them?

  • this really is awesome!

  • Gorgeous fishes! The pond is cool, too...

  • Thanks!
