I am a student at pcc, and I love it there. It does get cold (I'm from NH, I know cold, it gets cold at school!). It is a beautiful campus. Most of the students are friendly enough. The academics are excellent, the teachers all truly care about us, and *most* of the rules have good reasons behind them. There is enough to do, if you look around. The sports center just expanded, and the library is full of decent books. Definitely check the place out!

It all depends on the individual. I left after 2 years in Pastoral Ministries b/c I couldn't stand the legalistic and cultish philosophies and teaching that I was getting on a minutely basis. If I had chosen a major that I didn't have to have them shove their beliefs in my face as more fact than what Jesus or Paul preached than I might have been able to graduate from there.

I would say one of the biggest things is that if you aren't in line with their way of life, you are not in line with God. I even heard one speaker say my freshman year that God's will was for us to be there and if we left we were going against God's will. It is a great education, but it is not accredited, so good luck getting a job in the real world with no "real" degree if you go there.

Actually, PCC is pretty well thought of as far as academics go. Most Bible colleges aren't accredited anyway. PCC's nursing program is accredited by the state of FL, I believe.

It's amazing how this school looks exactly the same and has kept the same rules they had 20 years ago! I attended PCC back in the fall of 1988. One of the most shocking things I discovered was that it was an unwritten rule that "inter-racial dating" was UNACCEPTABLE. I has discussions with other students regarding and most agreed to this philosophy. Other than that, I focused on the positive characteristics of PCC and enjoyed it.

Not sure why you responded to me about this. This was NEVER the problem when I was there. Dr. Mullenix told he always believed it was OK. Heck, they sell Ken Ham's book One Blood, which clearly outlines why it's all right. I know BJU got in big trouble over this issue.

Perhaps things changed a lot while you attended which is awesome, I think. For me, it was not a major issue. Years later, it was an issue true resulting with Bob Jones, anyway, I am glad I attended PCC! Thanks for your comment!
