  • Yeah Pink Anderson was the original, her, you cover this song the best. Where did you get the tab for sheet music for it?

  • wow it's just amazing!!!! can u please send me the tabs you have used to play this megical piece?

  • beautiful. just beautiful

  • really enjoyed that...well done..

  • Great! Now sing it too. Ever hear Bromberg do it? Its meant to be sung!

  • I want you to know that he was quick, rapid....solicitous!

  • awesom man,

  • NICE.

    Salud!

  • man you are great!

    btw beautiful guitar

    saludos!!

  • ... you really are amazing.... thank you.....

  • Thanks to you for comments.

  • ..That's one of Pink Anderson's alright, just like his son, Little Pink Anderson still plays it. I'm from Spartanburg, SC too, like Pink, and get the pleasure of jammin' with, and hearing Little Pink from time to time around town.

  • Great!. Thanks for comments!

  • do you know lost lover blues by chance?

  • Hey Gustavo,

Great stuff; this is a song I always wanted to learn! I've scoured the net for a tab or even chords- thanks so much for playing this - I can finally teach myself this tune. Great playing, thanks again.

  • Thanks to you!!!

    Post the video :-)

  • So cool. It's like Arlo Guthrie before Arlo Guthrie knew who Arlo Guthrie was.

I really love the piedmont blues and buddy, you've got it!

  • Thank you

  • Gustavo, I am a fan of your playing. I am trying to teach myself this song by watching your video. Please tell me which string (or strings) you are bending on that F chord near the beginning. I cannot get it to sound the same as your. Thanks,

    John

  • Thanks a lot!

    Bending on 3rd string

    ;-)

  • Pink Anderson sirvio de referencia para Pink Floyd

  • Pero sólo en el nombre...

Ya se podrían haber copiado algo de él :-(

    Salud!

  • I just listened to this again. . .omg its so beautiful. It's so cool that you can play that! I feel like laying on the grass in the south somewhere while u play for me:)

  • Thanks a lot...

    ;-)

  • Nicely played, I'm working on this myself..helped a lot

  • Thank you

  • simply beautiful

  • Thanks!!!!

  • chord progression somewhat reminds me of alice's restuarant. nice playing

  • Thanks!

  • ... what was great... thank you for sharing...

  • Thank you very much!

  • great stuff

  • Thanks!

  • That song is adorable. Well played. Every time I hear that one section of it, I can't help but think of Alice's Restaurant... :-)

  • thank god for Pink Anderson and Floyd Council!

  • Yes sir!!!

But I think Pink Floyd doesn´t make justice to them

    :-(

  • Good feeling boy. I like this music.

  • Thank you so much

  • Big compliment! Great picking! And nice song, would also love to give it a try - could you please let me know where I could get the tabs from? Thanks in advance!

  • I learned from Pink Anderson CD...and Roy Bookbinder´s Blues Book.

    Thanks!

  • Nicely done. Roy's teaching videos are excellent. Looking forward to hearing more from you. (I bet you love that martin!-)

  • Thanks a lot.

    Yes...it´s a great guitar.

    ;-)

  • Amazing! Your fingers are very stable. I have to make practise more.

  • Amazing! Your fingers are very stable. I have to make practise more.

  • Thanks

  • Excellent luv this tune, your really good man. I realy need to get control of my thumb. Nice one mate. Dan :)

  • is this the same pink anderson as in the blues man who made up pink floyds first name

  • You have amazing command of the piedmont style of picking. I've only heard a handful of players ( and Bookbinder is one of them) who do it so well. Ari Eisinger is probably at the top of my list. Check-out his website. I think you will appreciate his playing.

  • Thanks a lot for your comments!

  • Do any of you know where I can find the tab for this song?

  • Great - love the ending especially.

  • Wow, that's great pickin. I have an old video of Doc playing this. His version is slightly different. I spent quite a while trying to learn it, but just don't have Doc's touch. This is a great tune and you've done a very nice job with it! By the way, do you know Too Tight Rag?

  • Hello. Blind Blake´s "Too Tight" ??.Of course..great tune¡. Have you got a Santa Cruz OM???. How does it sound?. Goin´ to upload soon?.

    Thanks for your comments.

  • Yeah, I've got a '99 SCGCOM in Sitka/Mahogany. It's am amazing guitar. Unbelievably loud considering its size. If you haven't, you should check into a Santa Cruz. They are consistently excellent guitars.

I've not uploaded yet, but maybe sometime soon. I'm not as advanced as you, but I play a few old fingerstyle and flatpicked tunes. We'll see...

Any chance you might upload Too Tight Rag? Thanks!

  • That's great playing.

  • Thank you

  • sounds very nice.

  • I LOVE it!

  • I played too fast maybe but Is a great song.

    Thanks

  • Very cool...good job! Have you heard Doc Watson play that one? It's an excellent version...

  • Thanks

No...but Doc Watson is one of the best fingerpicker (and flat too...)around!.
