Gradius III SNES Boss Rush

I love Gradius 3...but it bugs me that it feels more like a rehash of Gradius II than a true sequel..with number of levels reused and all.

I remember being pissed off from the ice boss... After every triumph, after beating the boss afterwards, I remember saying, "THERE'S MORE SH*T TO KILL!?"

Too bad people don't realize that this is basically the Final Boss Battle: Battle Mania. The final boss wasn't all too hard because of this, obviously. This is where the Boss difficulty went.

Frist time going for Crystal Core when I tried to go infront of it, I got whipped by the arm things, after that, it got all the harder.

Nice! Twin is a half-decent laser, although I prefer E-laser. What I like to do is get the small spread or large spread missiles. Large spread missiles can do so much damage to a boss it's unreal. Same deal small spread though not quite as quickly. I've been lucky enough to aim a missile or two right into Earwig Scorpion's eyeball a few times (yay, projection!)--it's only shortcoming is its inability to hit things directly below it. That's when I take small spread.

nope, there is no tetran in Gradius III. Sucks, I know, but he shows up again in Gradius IV and V.

i think he means he uses e-laser and it's tough to get a decent shot on covered core in gradius v.

i don't really think it's hard to shoot it really, especially on high loops where there's many more cores.

i played beacon on easy loop 5 and those orbs things he shoots them non stop and they stay in the screen for like 10 seconds xD

Yup, become just like the enemy, fricken twin lazer shots. The shrink sheild is definitley a n00bish, or masters choice. I use the barrier. He also saw the paterns the other bosses had. Didn't see that comin'.Crazy ass shrink shield. Dang, you're just too good... I still favor the E.Lazer, though.

You obviously have no clue how the shrink shield works.

With that said, don't comment on things you don't know about. All the scan lines appear to check out, he had 2 close calls, and even if they hit him, he would still be alive.

You can buy the soundtrack on Ebay. On Ebay search for a seller named Champ des Pins. He has it for $40. Since the CD has long been discontinued, $40 is a good price for it.

I loved how the Senes version had the orange things on top and below you. this helped me alot. But why were they taken out of the other gradius games?

don't worry there are too many ways to win in gradius without using the type that you mentioned ........you just need to play then you will figer it out .^_^

and by the way they toke it from other series because it's almost like cheating in old series for gradius so they want you to prove that your a pro player that's all .......and in gradius v they place it again because gradius v is more difficult from the other series so they put it back to help the players .

I like the video. But y not C Laser(Cyclone)?  It too is just as strong. And i noticed u didn't have any shields up. I think that's suicide there.

i think i used T. Laser just because it's wider and pierces enemies, the only problem with it is you can't drag it through walls like with c. laser and laser.

and i was using reduce shield, which certainly isn't suicide. it makes the hitbox so small, the game is like cheating.
