I bought a Panasonic 9 volt battery not long ago and it was very nearly flat. I wont be buying a Panasonic battery again.

That reminds me of a brand of toilet paper sold here that won't flush down the toilet, even after three tries. That's quite an achievement when you think about it. A simple product that has been around forever and they manage to come up with one that doesn't work!
