N. C. never impressed me at all. Jamie's work I enjoy. "Automoton" both fascinates and, in some way, haunts me. Andrew's work I feel most connected to. My favorite artists are Maxfield Parrish, William M. Harnett, Johannes Vermeer and Andrew Wyeth. And no artist knew the chill and solitude of Winter like Andrew Wyeth.

Wonderful expose of an artist who I'm unfamiliar with, but one that intrigues me now. After so much time spent in the vague, fantasy inducing world of the Impressionists, it's healthy to be reminded of the value of a contemporary realist. I imagine that the creator of the video is a well-grounded, New England individualist, who has a  profound sense of self & a unique perspective on life. This video pays homage to the simple beauty found in one's daily life of nature, home, & close companions.
