Guys i dont know why this 100mW laser without focus lights a match, because i have bought an SD-301 100mW laser from DX and it does NOT light matches , wich is very odd since it has a focus and this one doesnt...

a 100mw laser would light a match in about 1-2 seconds at that distance, yours took 11 seconds, I guess your laser gotta be something like 40-50mw.

@Swemelodeathmetal92 the laser may actually have the potential to be 100mw laser however you may have to tune it yourself. if you look up tutorials it should help you. be careful tho it could break you laser.

@wonder1ng ha ha to you for buying a cheap laser! i go to rayfoss or o-like for all my high powered laser needs. save up next time and buy a good laser. o-like has a true 400mW green laser torch for under $200 shipped and it would kill a match and murder a cigarette. you can even get it faster with ups or dhl(something dealextreme doesn't offer).

Mine is 100mw. same laser. true 100mw from DX. has the ability to light a match at times, but the power decreases randomly and that sucks a lot. Tapping it on the top carefully does change the strenght of the beam and dot right away.

i bought this one in Thailand and a much much stronger one, its so bad it hurts your eyes just being in the same room. in broad daylight you can easily see a bright dot on anything your eye can see...at night you can see the beam stretching to the clouds and beyond. the one shown here is roughly half as strong....

If you have it in your carry-on, and have nothing to draw attention they arent going to waste time checking it out. that's weird... wicked lasers is now FDA approved, they've been kissing some FDA butt recently and have integrated a couple safety features, so wicked lasers are actually OK to import to the US, plus they reduced the price..
