The ELP concert in support of "Karn Evil 9" is the best show I have ever seen - full 4ch sound at the Balto. Civic Ctr. - whoa! Palmer had drums setup on a rotating platform, his gongs lit on fire when he struck them, and Emerson's *grand* piano rose up in the air and he continued playing while rotating ass over teakettle - he used a seatbelt to hold him onto the bench. NOBODY does anything anywhere near this today!

Why is the drummer so good? It's Carl palmer, that's why!! Later to join Emerson, Lake, and Palmer. I saw Atomic Rooster back in 1969 or 70 at the Wheaton Civic Ctr. in Wheaton, MD. Paid all of $2.50 to see 'em - w00t!! This is *real* heavy metal, and much better thhan posers like Metallica, etc...

That's a tough choice!!!

This for me anyway, was their finest record.

Everything worked,,no bad throw away tunes..and holyshit was it ever heavy and tight.Everyone was "on"..and it sounded like it!!!
