Just like a bug, it doesn't have enough mass to damage itself in a fall. You can drop a beetle from a thousand feet and it will hit the ground and scurry off unharmed. It doesnt weigh enough to crush itself on impact.

yes zzvideozz, we didn't get to see how high it goes. but what's more important, is that we didn't even get to see it land. we didn't get to see a natural grasshopper land properly either... if this thing is gonna search for survivors, it's gonna FAIL... badly
