Did anyone else remember that if you took out that lone block that's visible at 3:27 you could morph into any of the other characters in the game? I never completed this game though, I kept getting confused about which character I was supposed to be and couldn't complete levels because I wasn't breathing fire or flying or small enough etc.

The first song that plays is amazing. Hell, the whole soundtrack is great. One of the best games on the Master System and the 8-bit era, and Action RPG genre. All around classic!

Wonder Boy III the dragons trap. I remember playing this game as a kid. I loved it!

Look at the beautiful graphics and listen to the typical Master System soundtrack! This was awesome, and is still one of the best games I've ever played. It takes me away, back in the days.

I love completing this game and getting all the weapons.

The Muramasa blade is the best sword for Lion Man at 250. The Legendary Sword for him is 245

The legendary sword is the best one for all the other characters though.

I <3 this game, it was my first game for my first Gaming Console. It beats almost every NES game. I still play the game on my PSP, and got it original even though i don't own a SMS. Good job on that video, i've considered making a speed run video too, but i haven't got it down on video's. Lovely to see a skilled Wonderboy III player, heh. Keep the game alive, people! :P

I think this game is very underrated and you don't see it enough in the greatest games of all time lists! In my opinion is way better than the first two Zeldas on NES! Of course Zelda III: A link to the Past is superior but this game deserves a lot of credit! Also, the music in this game (and After Burner) is amazing considering SMS's sound limitations!

Same here. I actually went out of my way to download the Sega Master System format sound files and then converting with Winamp to .wav files and then to mp3s so I could listen to them on my ipod!
