  • American Media does have a bias. A conservative bias.

  • These other media channels are standing up to Fox for they do not want to feel the POWER and WRATH OF GOD HERSELF UNLEASHED onto them by President Sarah Palin! They will get in line and kowtow to Palin and eliminate all their liberal biases and agenda and bias for a conservative and righteous bias and agenda. These media CEOs do not want to have their PUSSIES revealed for the whole world to see and suffer discredibility and embarassment!

  • IMO, Fox Lobbying Channel finally went too far in two ways-

    1. They refused to correct facts that were found to be incorrect, or just made up out of whole cloth repeatedly (almost continuously with thier RW guests), and passed off too many opinions from either themselves or tiny minorities as the general consensus of the US.

    2. They sponsored Anti-Democrat events, using massive amounts of advertising and airtime to claim a 'movement' and then reported on them as if it were spontaneous.LOL

  • Bush wrote a letter!!!!??@ That is sooo biased!! And this excuses Obama how? The media is liberally biased and Obama hates free speech. Period.

  • So what is it when you say that anyone who didn't support the war on Terror or the Iraq War isn't a patriot?

The problem isn't what Obama is doing. The problem is Republican (note: not conservative) Hypocrasy. When they do something it's for the good of the Country. When the Dems do it, WATCH OUT it's a government takeover.

Personally, I think both parties have this country on a fastrack to hell. Liberal Sociallism on one extreme and a Corporate State at the other. And I don't want either.

  • Pathetic ass points. Conservatives have FOX, Drudge Report, Rush Limbaugh, New York and Washington Times. Conservatives hate free speech. Using that "liberal bias" shit to silence criticism.

  • ...On point like always!

  • "If you don't like Fox use my method and turn it off."

    ARE YOU KIDDING?!

That doesn't work, they need to be called out for the 24/7 slander & propaganda they push out in to the world.

  • The plan is quite simply to shut the media up.

All it takes is to restrict Fox because of supposed

bias, and the rest of the media will be next.

Shutting up people you disagree with isn't what

freedom of the press is all about.

  • They are not shutting up anyone. Fox News is biased. You dont have to believe me you can look it up or watch Fox news Now. Type in search engines on Youtube or whereever Fox News Biased and you will find videos showing them being biased all freaking day long. I challenge you to do that. No one is saying Fox News shouldnt be on air. But people are saying call them for what they are. A format to push republican/conservative idealology. They dont give straight news they have an an agenda.

  • All the news is biased. Start paying attention to the FCC and its current direction. There are people saying that these programs should be removed from the airwaves.

If you don't like Fox use my method and turn it off.

    GRIN

  • Where is your logic? How does your response to my statements make any sense? Or are you simply stuck on your talking points?

  • OOOOUUUTTTRRRRRAAAAAAAAAGGGGGEEEEE I fucking love that, i am using it all day at home to my girlfriend every time she tries to spring socialism in our apartment hehe.

  • It's not that they don't wanna be called "biased", it's that the mainstream media outlets operate for corporations. not for the people. To call out Fox News is to basically challenge this whole notion that the media has to operate by the criticism of right wing idealogues is just laughable. The Obama Administration is basically doing what a lot of people have been saying for years now, but the media was too afraid to call it like it is because it is not liberal or conservative, it is corporate.

  • God, Glenn Beck makes me sick. He makes a living pandering to uneducated idiots. He's the Jerry Springer of news. The problem is, his group of idiot followers help elect our government officials. They should not be allowed to do so. Democracy does not work when you have an ignorant public.

Beck and his ilk are true enemies of our country. They want to least educated people to have the most influence. That is a recipe for disaster.

  • re: dskrilla1

    It's pretty simple actually.

Glenn Beck is the new Joe McCarthy

  • Fake press conference with FEMA employees pretending to be reporters? How did I miss that one? I'd never heard of that one. I should have my Lib card suspended! You know what I call this? OUTRAGE!

  • If you're watching Fox news the majority of the time, you are not watching news, you are not informed, and - most importantly - you are not "in the center".

  • I agree. It seems too often the media is biased in favor of being in the "middle" as opposed to being objective on the facts.

  • If a news organization is considered to be liberally biased, its accepted as a basic fact. If a news organization is considered to be conservatively biased, it is considered outrageous and slanderous. Media political bias does go both ways, whether people like to accept it or not. If you want a true idea of the news, either watch the completely dry C-span or watch Foxnews, MSNbc, and CNN and deduce the truth from all three.

  • re: allan8d8

Well I find my favorites are

Jon Stewart, Rachel Maddow, Fareed Zakaria, Jim Leher, and Gwen Ifill.

And granted, the first two do have a biase. However it's not like they try to hide that fact. And their arguments are highly evidence based.

  • Media bias is going much further to the right though. The "liberally biased" are nowhere near gleefully cheerleading any liberal cause, like FOX does with the concervative agenda.

  • Agreed.

  • The statements " Fox News is a biased media outlet" and "Fox News acts like talk radio" are both factually accurate - they are biased and act in ways similar to talk radio. Denying these statements would be bias but that is the danger for the mainstream media - agree with it and they are part of the liberal bias giving Obama a free pass ... disagree and they are biased to the right. What are they to do?
