I know a lot of people really liked rolo, and despised Suzaku in R2. I was the other way though, I didn't really care for rolo, his story was a meaningful one and made sense but I just didn't latch onto him like I did everybody else, and I loved suzaku even more in R2 than I did in R1. I didn't hate rolo, I just didnt' love him. and he REALLY pissed me off when he killed shirley, I loved that girl almost more than anybody else =[

But I still think, that Nunnaly's original theme song is perfect for her character, because [I'll say it again] she's probably the wisest character in the show. And this certain melody accents feelings and bonds, not philosophy. )))

@KatsuragiNamika Second season Nunnally definitely is. That was manifest most of the times she had screen time. She forced her agony into the backgrounds to fight Lelouch, but before that, as Viceroy, she was nowhere near as cheerful as in the beginning of R1. Lelouch's crusade has been tearing her apart, and it is heavily implied she has some idea of what he's doing.

@LestatxLouis1 Yes, Lelouch's actions were tearing her apart, and it was only natural for her to grow up and become more serious. Add the feeling of responsibility that she got after becoming a viceroy. She's not melancholic, it's just that her life is rather difficult. Don't mess up being hurt and being melancholic ;)

hell, i bawled when shirley died, but i also bawled when rolo died. i was pissed at him for killing shirley, but i thought he redeemed himself pretty well.

Sad how some people don't understand Rolo well enough. He was never taught the value of life because he himself was always just living. He was trained to kill as a little kid at any cost. Life doesn't have an intrisique value to him initially yet he learned to value Lelouchs and in the end put his big brother up on a pedistal. He grew...as a character should.

@AnimeLove76: Actually she had it coming for going into an empty mall with a suspected terrorist in it without any combat ability or self defense training I mean who the fuck does that? I know that Lelouch was the suspected terrorist, but still what the fuck. She could have just told him what she felt later on that day or something, but no she just had to butt into everything. Lelouch was a douchebag towards Rolo I can not for give that, but when he said "Rolo was the brother of Lelouch Lamperouge not Lelouch vi Britannia" I was like aww how sweet. I still won't forgive him for being a prick towards my sweet little Rolo.
