And you are a parrot of CNN, MSNBC, NBC, CNBC, ABC, and all of the liberal media. I have a right to watch what I want and have an opinion you sir are imposing on that right. You libs claim to be for freedom of speech and free to have your own opinion, but I guess that only applies to you because you hate it when others challenge you. I have brought out the true liberal inside you.
The Situation Room with Wolf Blitzer and Anderson Cooper ALWAYS have people with opposing viewpoints on SIMULTANEOUSLY, not at two different times. As far as Obama accomplishments, let's see: CREDIT CARD REFORM, MORTGAGE RELIEF ACT, SCHIP, EQUAL PAY ACT, PULLING COMBAT TROOPS OUT OF ALL MAJOR REGIONS OF IRAQ, KILLING MORE TERRORISTS THAN THE LAST TWO ADMINISTRATIONS, AS WELL AS PROSECUTING THEM. I imposed on nothing, my paranoid friend. I'm just exposing you as having your head up your ass.
Obama didn't propose credit card reform, Obama did not propose mortgage relief (he went back on that promise and please tell me how the gov was gona pay off your mortgage), has not proposed equal pay (plus equal pay will just cut your salary and other HARD WORKERS' salaries), he never proposed pulling the troops out and has yet to pull them out, Obama has not killed any terrorist (please tell me how many he has killed because last I checked he only tried them in civ courts).
Ever heard of missile attacks??? If so, you'd know that under Obama, more missiles have been launched and killed more terrorists than the last two presidents combined. And don't overexpose your stupidity. People tried in civilian courts convicted of murder are executed in states that have capital punishment. Wipe the slobber off your chin, RETARD!!!! Go away and finish fantasizing about blowing Dan Quayle.
Aw I have the facts. Plus you have no evidence to back up your argument. I can tell you that there are just as much liberal radio talk shows as there are conservative. You see your liberal comrades want you to believe that Conservatives run everything and that they are so evil and vile that you won't be able to think straight. When it's the liberals who control the education, the media, and the government. And your buddy George Soros made billions from toppling European economies.
In 1976 I was old enough to vote in the Election. Though raised in a Yellow Dog Dem household (just as I have raised my family), when I arrived at the polls in 1976, I didn't know who I would pull that lever for. As it was, I did proudly vote for Carter. But that isn't my point; rather that the '76 election was the only one in my life where I knew I couldn't make a bad choice. No matter what we thought of their positions, these were two fine, honorable, men who served the US with distinction.
It will take a miracle for the GOP to win the White House in 2012. They are seriously bad at the moment and if they nominate Palin, Gingrich or Romney, they'll lose anyway.
Well if Pelosi is proven gulity that means the Dems had their fair share in the torture. If Biden doesn't shut his trap with the stupidity it utters and Obama keeps spending like a teenager with a credit card and keeps lying about leaving the middle east I'd say we're at least good to take back Congress by 2010 or 2012 if no the Presidency.
Forget it. Democrats are going to gain 4 to 6 seats in the Senate and the Republicans have no shot at taking back th House. They would have to pick up 78 seats. It's never going to happen. And just what are you expecting Nancy Pelosi to be found guilty of? She is accused by Republicans of lying about knowing that waterboarding was being used. Waterboarding was made legal by Dick Cheney and George Bush, so it doesn't matter if she lied about whether or not she knew they were doing it.
Aha but American voters are very stupid that can sway them easily the point is the Democrats are just as bad. Anything sways them and I presume bothe parties are aware of that stupidity and will play on that. I'm not making any predictions as precise as you because that unpredictable.
Don't get me wrong, Republicans may very well take the White House in 2016. But right now, they are in the same position nationally that the Democrats were in from 1994 to 2006. In 2004, although Kerry almost won the White House, the national Democratic party were not concerned about the House or the Senate. That's why Howard Dean implemented a 50 state strategy in 2006 to retake the House and Senate. Right now, I don't see the Republicans as a contender. 2016's a different story.
Naw Obama's administration has already fucked up so much and his says the most stupid things and pissing off the gay community with broken promises. They will win in 2016 if not 2012 American voters always flip-flop parties when they get tired of the current one in power. Unless Obama and Pelosi do something hugely redeeming they will be up for a fight in the upcoming elections.
You're right on that. Usually, they switch parties after 8 years of one party as president. George Bush 41 was the exception simply because the Democrats chose the worst of the lot in 1988, Mike Dukakis. At that point, I got discouraged. But generally, Congress is usually controlled by the same party for a long period of time. In all fairness, it's pretty difficult to judge a president after six months. That's 12% of his term.
Also, keep this in mind. In his first two years, Bill Clinton was not particularly popular with voters in states that voted for him that usually vote Republican. After the 1994 midterms, he looked at the issues that Republicans ran on and won with in 1994 and presented his plan to deal with them, rather than let Newt Gingrich and Bob Dole set the agenda. In doing so, he made their Contract with America look silly. Obama has the same craftsmanship that Bill Clinton and Ronald Reagan did.
One thing the Democratic party has done right on the national level over the last two years is how they've gone about recruiting candidates for the House and Senate. In red states, they've lined up pro life and pro Second Amendment Democrats. In the blue states, they've done the opposite. They've nominated candidates who best reflect the interests of the voters of that state and not necessarily the interests of the most liberal wing of the party.
The southern Democrats today aren't the same as they were just four years ago. I don't know how much time you've spent down south, but the only southern states that are still stuck in the 1960's are Alabama, Mississippi, and South Carolina. Virginia and North Carolina seem to have moved to the center and West Virginia and Georgia nearly went Democratic. Tennessee is still a pretty conservative state, though, but there are parts that are relatively moderate.
Funny thing, though. Strom Thurmond was a southern Democrat, So was Jesse Helms. So was George Wallace. They all quit the Democratic party and became Republicans. In 1964, LBJ signed the Voting Rights Act and the Civil Rights Act, which turned the South into a Republican stronghold. With blacks becoming more of a voting presence down south, the Democrats have been able to make gains in southern congressional districts. They're a way's off statewide, though.
Richard Nixon made the South a Republican stronghold. Blacks love to elect their opressors as history has shown becaus they use some pretty devious tactics to fool them while they continue oppressing them it's quite clever I'll give them credit for that.
Before there was Karl Rove, there was Gordon Liddy. Liddy was the most evil son of a bitch to ever live. He mastermided the Nixon election in 1968 and 1972. Had Spiro Agnew not been forced to resign and had Nixon not been knee deep in shit with Watergate, Republicans may have controlled the White House for 20, 30 years. Had the Democrats not nominated Jimmy Carter in 1976, the South would have still gone Republican.
There were three reasons that Carter won in 1976. First, Spiro Agnew got bagged. Second, Richard Nixon got bagged. Third, he was a southerner. If any one of those three things not happened, we'd have followed up the then most toxic presidency with another toxic presidency. Could you imagine President Spiro Agnew??? Yikes!!!
I agree with you there. Gerald Ford, like Jimmy Carter, was a good man forced into a bad situation. When he was sent in to replace Agnew, as well as the fact that the Watergate investigations were taking place, you have to believe that he was asked to be vice president because the Republicans knew that the hammer was coming down on Nixon and they needed someone with unquestionable character to assume the presidency. Ford never wanted to be president. He took one for the team.
If you look at the stats from the 1976 election, Carter won by winning the states that are now considered red states, ie the South and the Midwest. Ford won a lot of what are today considered blue states.
Reagan was the last person from either party that will ever win an election that lopsided. These days, there are about 20 states that are solidly Republican, about 20 states that are solidly Democratic, and 10 states that are tossups. Even when one party wins by a wide margin, the loser will still take 20 states. Look at Clinton. He whooped Bob Dole in the popular vote and the electoral college but Dole still won 18 states. If Clinton were not a southerner, Dole may have won 20 to 25.
Actually, I'm wrong. Bush 41 gave Dukakis a beat down, too. Dukakis did get 46% of the popular vote, though, which is remarkable considering the electoral college schllacking, 426 to 111.
Like I said, he is the last person from either party that will ever win a presidential election in that lopsided fashion. We are pretty much split down the middle with each side being able to lay claim to about 20 states and 10 states that are up for grabs. When one side wins in a convincing manner, at least 8 of those states go to one candidate. The tossup states are Missouri, Ohio, Florida, Virginia, Pennsylvania, Michigan, New Mexico, Nevada, Iowa and now Colorado, Indiana & North Carolina
Pennsylvania and Michigan, though, barely fit that bill. Every Democrat since 1992 has won them. 2000 and 2004 came down to Florida and Ohio. In 2008, McCain had to win 8 states to win and lost all of them except Missouri. Right now, Obama is in the driver's seat. Things may change but I doubt it. People do realize that it took 8 years to get to this point and it's probably going to take another 8 years to get things close to what they were 8 years ago. Bed time. Peace.
Obama's Democratic problem is in the House more than the Senate. In the House, there is no filibust, so it's yes or no. That way, conservative red state Democrats can save face with their constituents. In the Senate, even the conservative Democrats won't fuck with leadership. They are allowed to vote their conscience but filibusters are out of the question, especially with the majority that Democrats currently have. Sotomayor will get GOP support from border state Republicans.
Sotomayor never got the support that Obama thought she would get. She is one of the most disapproved judges in history. That's just what I think, but I highly doubt anyone is falling for Obama's "Hope and Change" slogan because he has already shot down 80% of his promises.
Sotomayor got 68 votes when she was confirmed. That is astounding. And where are you getting this 80% figure regarding campaign promises? Sounds like you're just parroting something you heard on Fox News.
First off I didn't parrot fox news, Obama did in fact go back on most of his promises. You attack Fox News as if their biased, when CNN, MSNBC, NBC, ABC, etc, are holding Obama up as an idol and don't bother telling you about the other candidates. The liberal media will only give you the positives about Obama never the negatives. The point of reporting news is to REPORT NEWS not hold your guy up as an idol. When it comes to the liberal media the Conservative is always the evil one.
So I am correct. You are merely a Fox News parrot. When in doubt, or just have your head up your ass, make up figures and blame the non existent liberal media, attack CNN, MSNBC, etc. If ANY of them were holding up Obama as an idol, his approval ratings would be at 70%. I have to laugh at conservative douchebags, you attack the media 24/7, even when you win elections, and when you lose, you blame the media as being liberal biased. Good day. You are no longer worth my time. Ta Ta, moron!!!
plus they do hold him up as an idol because I never heard one negative thing about Obama on CNN. Name one thing bad about Obama they mentioned on any of the liberal news channels, and name me 1 accomplishment.
Let me get this straight. I CAUGHT you lying about not watching Fox News, called you out on pulling numbers out of your ass and forced you into backpedaling, and you're trying to turn this on me? I guess that's why they call conservatives DOUCHEBAGS. You have the right to your opinion but not to your own set of facts, that's the difference. And I don't recall ever saying I was not a liberal. CNN do just what you say media is supposed to do, REPORT the news, not take sides in politics.
Plus you did impose on my freedoms remember the "Fox news" comment. I have a right to disagree with my president if I don't think he's doing what he is supposed to do...secondly you keep attacking me cuz I watch fox news, that still proves you are imposing on my freedom to obtain information about something you don't want to know about. Plus You can only attack fox news to defend your liberal friends in the mainstream media. I also see the dismissive rudeness in your comment.
Dude, it shouldn't take you FOUR POSTS to prove the obvious, that YOU'RE A RETARD!!! You are right, Obama has not " proposed " any of those things I mentioned, HE SIGNED THEM INTO LAW!!!! No, I NEVER imposed on your freedom, I simply pointed out that you are using BULLSHIT as your source. I attack Fox News because they are more full of shit than the Thanksgiving turkey. Call it dismissive rudeness, call it whatever you want, just go fuck yourself. There, for real, I'm done with you, RETARD.
@Mage13246 91% of the airways, radio are controlled by conserative talk radio...there is no liberal media. Just something you are fed by Fox(the fair and balanced NEWS network)LOL People listen to most of their news at work or going or coming on the radio!!! Limbaugh, O'Reilly, Beck, Hannity and now Palin are laughing at you...all the way to the bankROFL Remember...QUIT your elected job...and you can make millions off of MORONS:)
And all you are doing is making personal attacks against me and not arguing with facts. This is all you liberals do. I'm afraid me trying to convince you that it's the liberals who are attempting a total take over will be useless as you have been blinded by the leftist machine. However you believe what you want. Also if you make another comment that doesn't have an argument don't bother wasting my time okay? bye
Actually that's because Obama has done nothing but negative things. Name one good thing he did for this country! He didn't better the economy, in fact made it worse. He tried to make health care a single payer system (which isn't sustainable and will never work and is a system that more than 60% of the country disapproved of). He didn't raise our standing in the world, he actually made it worse (Our enemies don't even take us seriously anymore and our allies laugh at us)
Unemployment was under 4% (Unemployment under Obama is almost 9%)
Bush actually created jobs
Bush freed two nations from the hands of terrorists (50million Muslims are free today)
Bush rose our standing in the world better than Obama because our enemies didn't think we were pussies, and our allies were able to back us up when we needed it!
And if you try to give credit to Clinton just look at how many of his policies were shot down
Oh I will agree that Bush wasn't a GREAT president but he was good one. It wasn't until 06 til the liberal side of him came out and you lefties still demonized him even though he gave you what you wanted during his last 2yrs in office. You asked me to name one good thing Bush did for this country I named several. Nice way to dodge my question. Now please answer mine as I have answered yours.
Also, the biggest problem facing the GOP right now is the GOP. John McCain, whether Republicans like it or not, was their only chance to win the White House. Romney, Huckabee, etc. were non factors. McCain was part of the past. If he were the Democrat and Obama the Republican, Obama would still have won. That's why the Democrats nominated Obama. They didn't want Hillary Clinton because she, too, was part of the past. The GOP needs to get younger if they're ever to be a factor.
It's about time my home state of Florida got it RIGHT for a change. That part of the election made me happier than even watching Obama win the overall election. Winning Florida, Indiana, N.C., Nevada, and Virginia on top of it was just icing on the cake after Ohio. The Republicans are screwed for the next 8 years until they find a way to appeal to someone other than rednecks.
Why? Because they voted for Obama? Then you ought to say the same of Virginia and North Carolina. And Georgia was pretty close, too.
And after the 2012 Obama landslide, there won't be much of a South left at all.
I predict strong Democratic turnout in the already blue South (VA, NC, FL) as well as MS and LA. Maybe even TX if we have a good Election Night, with the growing Latino population there.
Well, the idiot still has three years to screw up and ruin his reputation before then. And when he screws up, don't come crying to us conservatives because we were warning you about him from day one!
Keep putting all your chips in the hope that Obama screws up. Go on. Keep opposing everything he and the Dems do just because they're to the left of you. I assure you it will only hasten the inevitable demise of the Republican Party, and maybe we can finally get a decent opposition party that actually stands for things and not just against them.
Seriously I love what the GOP is doing, not providing any kind of alternatives, just opposing Obama on everything. It's great for the Democratic Party.
Aren't they just pathetic? His approval #'s are in the 60% range int he worst economic crisis in years. When it turns around, and it is, and will, remember it's been 5 months, he will get ALL of the credit. What then will they do? LOL God I'm loving this.
And by the way, he doesn't have three years, he has seven. There is no way he isn't getting re-elected, not with the demographic shifts that have occurred and the fact that we now have a 10-point party advantage thanks to "President" Bush.
Not to sound smug, atomik, but you hit the nail right on the head. Outside of the southern and midwestern mountain states, the Republican party are a non factor. This is as close to a permanent Democratic majority as it gets, especially with Hispanics set to become the largest voting bloc by the year 2020. Texas, Colorado and New Mexico are on the verge of becoming solid blue states. They almost lost the military vote because soldiers are trending Democratic. RIP GOP
conservatism is a thing of the past as far as elections go. GET OVER IT! Keep running on that, and U will never win. So keep up the good work losers. Your messege isnt reaching anyone.
The idiot? look at John McCain's dumb ass, this country would be in for another 4 years of horror. If he's such a idiot then why did he go to Harvard Law School? John McCain didn't go to college. The only reason our last dumb ass president went was because his dad pulled his strings for him. It's only his first damn year and your already hating on him. All you Republicans/ Conservatives need to grow up and stop kissing ass. If we did elect McCain this country would be in so much debt
LOL OH MY GOD. Did you warn us about the WORST ADMINISTRATION IN US HISTORY? YOU FUCKING MORON. YOU BROUGHT US THAT FUCK AND AMERICA WILL NEVER FORGET. Have you seen the polls? You've made ZERO GAINS. You're done.
Florida is kind of funny the more south you go the more the people sound like they're from up north and the further north you go the more it seems like the south
and 2 days later Bill oreilly said that this country is govern from center-right. i guess he doesn't wanna admit that the ppl want the country to be blue
this why i like florida because of diversity like new york that will vote obama again

Bed time. Peace.
daddymak9 2 years ago 2
Obama's Democratic problem is in the House more than the Senate. In the House, there is no filibust, so it's yes or no. That way, conservative red state Democrats can save face with their constituents. In the Senate, even the conservative Democrats won't fuck with leadership. They are allowed to vote their conscience but filibusters are out of the question, especially with the majority that Democrats currently have. Sotomayor will get GOP support from border state Republicans.
daddymak9 2 years ago
@daddymak9
Sotomayor never got the support that Obama thought she would get. She is one of the most disapproved judges in history. That's just what I think, but I highly doubt anyone is falling for Obama's "Hope and Change" slogan because he has already shot down 80% of his promises.
Mage13246 2 years ago
Sotomayor got 68 votes when she was confirmed. That is astounding. And where are you getting this 80% figure regarding campaign promises? Sounds like you're just parroting something you heard on Fox News.
daddymak9 2 years ago
@daddymak9
Mage13246 2 years ago
So I am correct. You are merely a Fox News parrot. When in doubt, or just have your head up your ass, make up figures and blame the non existent liberal media, attack CNN, MSNBC, etc. If ANY of them were holding up Obama as an idol, his approval ratings would be at 70%. I have to laugh at conservative douchebags, you attack the media 24/7, even when you win elections, and when you lose, you blame the media as being liberal biased. Good day. You are no longer worth my time. Ta Ta, moron!!!
daddymak9 2 years ago
@daddymak9
plus they do hold him up as an idol because I never heard one negative thing about Obama on CNN. Name one thing bad about Obama they mentioned on any of the liberal news channels, and name me 1 accomplishment.
Mage13246 2 years ago
Let me get this straight. I CAUGHT you lying about not watching Fox News, called you out on pulling numbers out of your ass and forced you into backpedaling, and you're trying to turn this on me? I guess that's why they call conservatives DOUCHEBAGS. You have the right to your opinion but not to your own set of facts, that's the difference. And I don't recall ever saying I was not a liberal. CNN do just what you say media is supposed to do, REPORT the news, not take sides in politics.
daddymak9 2 years ago
@daddymak9
Mage13246 2 years ago
Dude, it shouldn't take you FOUR POSTS to prove the obvious, that YOU'RE A RETARD!!! You are right, Obama has not " proposed " any of those things I mentioned, HE SIGNED THEM INTO LAW!!!! No, I NEVER imposed on your freedom, I simply pointed out that you are using BULLSHIT as your source. I attack Fox News because they are more full of shit than the Thanksgiving turkey. Call it dismissive rudeness, call it whatever you want, just go fuck yourself. There, for real, I'm done with you, RETARD.
daddymak9 2 years ago 3
@Mage13246 91% of the airways, radio are controlled by conserative talk radio...there is no liberal media. Just something you are fed by Fox(the fair and balanced NEWS network)LOL People listen to most of their news at work or going or coming on the radio!!! Limbaugh, O'Reilly, Beck, Hannity and now Palin are laughing at you...all the way to the bankROFL Remember...QUIT your elected job...and you can make millions off of MORONS:)
52jamaica 1 year ago
@52jamaica
And all you are doing is making personal attacks against me and not arguing with facts. This is all you liberals do. I'm afraid me trying to convince you that it's the liberals who are attempting a total take over will be useless as you have been blinded by the leftist machine. However you believe what you want. Also if you make another comment that doesn't have an argument don't bother wasting my time okay? bye
Mage13246 7 months ago
@Mage13246
but you here every negative thing about obama on fox news and lies
mwan245 7 months ago
@mwan245
Actually that's because Obama has done nothing but negative things. Name one good thing he did for this country! He didn't better the economy, in fact made it worse. He tried to make health care a single payer system (which isn't sustainable and will never work and is a system that more than 60% of the country disapproved of). He didn't raise our standing in the world, he actually made it worse (Our enemies don't even take us seriously anymore and our allies laugh at us)
Mage13246 7 months ago
@Mage13246
name one thing bush did good
mwan245 7 months ago
@mwan245
What Bush did good:
Unemployment was under 4% (Unemployment under Obama is almost 9%)
Bush actually created jobs
Bush freed two nations from the hands of terrorists (50million Muslims are free today)
Bush rose our standing in the world better than Obama because our enemies didn't think we were pussies, and our allies were able to back us up when we needed it!
And if you try to give credit to Clinton just look at how many of his policies were shot down
Mage13246 7 months ago
@mwan245
Mage13246 7 months ago
Also, the biggest problem facing the GOP right now is the GOP. John McCain, whether Republicans like it or not, was their only chance to win the White House. Romney, Huckabee, etc. were non factors. McCain was part of the past. If he were the Democrat and Obama the Republican, Obama would still have won. That's why the Democrats nominated Obama. They didn't want Hillary Clinton because she, too, was part of the past. The GOP needs to get younger if they're ever to be a factor.

Florida and Ohio, you are Forgiven for 2000 and 2004, Welcome back to where you belong! I love these two states after the last elections!
Smackdown5 2 years ago 4
It's about time my home state of Florida got it RIGHT for a change. That part of the election made me happier than even watching Obama win the overall election. Winning Florida, Indiana, N.C., Nevada, and Virginia on top of it was just icing on the cake after Ohio. The Republicans are screwed for the next 8 years until they find a way to appeal to someone other than rednecks.
swedemachine25 2 years ago 2
Okay, Florida needs to be stripped of it's status as true south.
bigrobmjca 2 years ago
If it means not being a red state anymore then we will gladly give it up.
CandyAppleRed13 2 years ago
AtomikNY 2 years ago
Well, the idiot still has three years to screw up and ruin his reputation before then. And when he screws up, don't come crying to us conservatives because we were warning you about him from day one!
bigrobmjca 2 years ago
Keep putting all your chips in the hope that Obama screws up. Go on. Keep opposing everything he and the Dems do just because they're to the left of you. I assure you it will only hasten the inevitable demise of the Republican Party, and maybe we can finally get a decent opposition party that actually stands for things and not just against them.
Seriously I love what the GOP is doing, not providing any kind of alternatives, just opposing Obama on everything. It's great for the Democratic Party.
AtomikNY 2 years ago
Obama won't screw up
thejoker178 2 years ago
Aren't they just pathetic? His approval #'s are in the 60% range int he worst economic crisis in years. When it turns around, and it is, and will, remember it's been 5 months, he will get ALL of the credit. What then will they do? LOL God I'm loving this.
portlandheart 2 years ago
And by the way, he doesn't have three years, he has seven. There is no way he isn't getting re-elected, not with the demographic shifts that have occurred and the fact that we now have a 10-point party advantage thanks to "President" Bush.
AtomikNY 2 years ago
Not to sound smug, atomik, but you hit the nail right on the head. Outside of the southern and midwestern mountain states, the Republican party are a non factor. This is as close to a permanent Democratic majority as it gets, especially with Hispanics set to become the largest voting bloc by the year 2020. Texas, Colorado and New Mexico are on the verge of becoming solid blue states. They almost lost the military vote because soldiers are trending Democratic. RIP GOP
daddymak9 2 years ago
conservatism is a thing of the past as far as elections go. GET OVER IT! Keep running on that, and U will never win. So keep up the good work losers. Your messege isnt reaching anyone.
1WeApOn247 2 years ago
Thank you. And all the racist remarks about the Supreme Court Latina. The GOP is finished.
portlandheart 2 years ago
The idiot? look at John McCain's dumb ass, this country would be in for another 4 years of horror.

Imagine that old man on the nuclear button. MY GOD, GOD DID BLESS AMERICA WITH OBAMA>
