the opening theme sounds so recent, instead of the days of satie and debussy...yet the second movement with the larger chords, reminds me of the girl with the flaxen hair... one can only wonder at how such brilliance was received in their time...

I'm not much of a Ravel fan, but since the very first time I listened to Pavane it moved me to tears, it's one of my favorite pieces and you play it with such emotion. Thank you very much for uploading this video.
