@MrLFCJack Petr Cech has saved many penalties, you can't gaurantee a penalty a goal, and liverpool fans always think they are right, lol they even said that when Lucas dived in the Arsenal match it was a penalty, when it clearly wasn't. It was never across the line, no way was that ball 100 percent over the line, Gallas's knee was level with the line, no chance it crossed. And no one said it was gonna be a red card tbh that was made up.

In the article which is sourced it has him quoted quite clearly that if the linesman didn't give the goal, Chelsea would be facing a penalty with 10 men. And in what reality do you live in where the last man defending clearly takes out someone with a clear goal scoring opportunity and the referee gives a penalty but no booking?

@MessinAbout80 I remember a lot of false stuff after the instant even now days about the referee, but on official sources the referee never claimed it was going to be a card. But put it this way if he was carded and Petr sent off, and your saying our sub goal keeper wudnt of saved it?, how can you confirm that?, you can't... Penalties these days can't be counted as goals, many of them arent scored. And we could of had this all the way to penalty shoot out and won, shit happens. Jus like dis did.

A good decision because, a few days later, the video and server disappeared offline. The identity of the individual who recorded the goal remains a mystery. I retain a copy and the ball can clearly be seen crossing the line, but only just! PM me if you want a copy.

@ynwa1963 Wow, a copy of this video would be amazing. It really is an amazing document of one of the most controversial moments in modern football history, one which also decided one of the greatest matches ever. I still can't see for myself whether or not the ball crossed the line entirely, but I'm sure with further analysis (zooming and quality enhancement) it could prove to be conclusive evidence.
