@guthunk You neglected to notice the reason why Obama built up so much debt. It was to relieve the horrible effects of the Bush great recession. The CBO stated that the Stimulus package has added 2.1 million jobs. Think how much worse it would be if Obama had not acted. What was the Republican plan for the recession: to reduce spending. That, any economist can tell you, will only make a recession much worse.

On March 23, 2010 the health care bill was approved. On March 24, 2010 I got a notice my supplemental bill was going up from $320 to$376 / month. It had to be mailed days ago. Are you honestly this delusional? The lady they are interviewing looks Latino, and I even saw two Black women behind her. Overall it seems like an excited but peaceful rally, with American flags, and discussing how they are gonna change the issue by using their right to vote. If you want I can send you plenty of liberal anti war or pro choice rallys with unorganized chanting and yelling and flag burning in the streets.

@scythian0528 Never mind I saw. They weren't mocking him, they told him they weren't going to pay for his treatment. Although, they were loud and throwing money, there was no swearing or making fun of his misfortune. The point was they don't have to pay and frankly I agree, they don't.

Their points are terrible honestly. A person with a degenerative disease usually cannot pay for the disease, in many cases the disease can render them unable to work. Who pays for someone with Huntington's? The person with Huntington's is literally unable to work. If society does not pay for these diseases, the only solution is to take them outside and euthanize them.

@scythian0528 I agree they were asshats, but no, I believe it is their right not to pay for it if they don't want to. You can't force people to be good and donate to charity. Also, Hospitals can't refuse to treat somebody. In fact, some of them not only treat their illness, but treat them to a five star experience as well. Now we can get rid of crap like that, but we don't need government interference. If its free or reduced cost, you get your treatment and get out.
