i never did heroin but i really enjoy this song. and i saw these guys in nashville and the lead singer did seem really down and out. it was a shame - i've been to a lot of shows in my day, but i had a hard time enjoying it because of his distant, lonely aura. hope he's doing all right.

@Cola21212 He's gotten worse over the years. He was like that last September when I saw him. He was playing different songs than the band at times and singing wrong lyrics and just looked really messed up. It's a shame because he's so talented and has a great voice.
I don't want other people listening to them, actually! I mean, enough people DO realize how great they are and I like underrated bands. Once bands get BIG, they start to sell out and people stop listening to them just because theyre "mainstream" when most dont even know the definition of the word.
@xxitsrinaxx13 The problem with this is that the band deserves success, commercial success. They write amazing songs and deserve to be played on the radio, billboard awards, grammys, and most importantly more money for their musical contributions. When bands stay underground, it may be a plus for you because you feel special knowing this great music exists, but ultimately it's holding them back from the next step in their careers.
@VeniceQueen I agree in everyway possble! My friends always hate it when their bands get bigger and everyone knows about them but I find that selfish because shouldn't you want for them to have success in their careers?
@angel93437 it's because everyone is stuck on the mainstream end of things... not that thats bad, but no one gives different types of music a chance really.... same situation with post rock, no lyrics. but amazing music
There are places you can go to turn the audio from this and other youtube videos into mp3's, listentoyoutube(dot)com usually works for me. Hope you get it working, these songs are amazing...

the greatest show would include margot and the nuclear so and sos, david bazan, bon iver, wilco, fun, band of skulls, and maybe the kills.
