its because its quite thin, and hes tuned it low and its a steel shell, i like that tone, but id prefer a maple shell, just for less harshness in the attack

Hey Lewis!

It's an Orion in Cinnamon Fade with Black Hardware with Pinstripes on the toms and a Powerstroke3 on the Bass Drum. The snare is a Mapex Seamless Shell snare with an Ambassador coated on...loud as hell and nearly killed me!!

nah he doesn't, travis barker makes it look like he's hitting it hard. theres only a couple of pure "smashers," look up russell gilbrook, morgan rose, some hard rock drummers. but this guy certainly breaks shit

I've totally fallen in love with this guy. (No comments, please - you know what I mean.) Are there faster drummers than him? Of course. Are there more innovative drummers? Certainly. And what about feel? Well, he's great, but not really versatile.

But who gives a fuck? Every time I listen to Jason bashing the shit out of his kit, I feel like my nose starts bleeding any moment. He MEANS what he plays, and that makes it sound so FUCKING AWESOME!
