Definitely a memorable movie. I especially liked the music. It was well-made and suspenseful.

This movie probably had the most script/story changes. Originally godzilla fought, killed, and ate a rat/fish thing called deutalios (probably spelled wrong). I believe toho thought it was to violent so they replaced it with the super x 2 and biollante's first form. There is also a deleted stop motion fight between godzilla and biollante.

Also this has my fav godzilla suit!

i heard of the fish dog, but never knew what it was from. as for the stop motion i have seen it as well as an anime thing but they both look so dramatically different that i think they were both fan made.

oh never saw that before. interesting, but it just does not mesh at all with the rest of the film. cool, but it would have detracted from the film because the animation clashes so much with the live action. also, that could have been fan made. i also found a claymation sceen, but no more info. so i m guessing it is a really cool fan creation. if it was a real cut sceen then there would be more info on it.

The Alarm System at the begining wasn't pointless - it shows, that JPN was more ready at the time for Godzilla attack, if he would escape from the volcano [which of course happened ^^]

maybe, but it just seemed redundant. at most it only needed 3 levels of alert; alls good, things might happen, and the fit has hit the shan.

I love the Alarm System at the beginning--I think it's a perfect opening to this film. In the context of the Heisei universe, Godzilla is the worst thing to happen to Japan since the Allied bombings of WWII. Thus, the reason the alarm system has so many levels is to show the audience that the government is truly afraid of Godzilla this time around and will not take any chances with the possibility of him returning.

Theres a high probability that I'm wrong, but seeing as how this is a Japanese movie, the whole soul in the plant thing has something to do with Shinto beliefs: when a loved one dies, their soul reappears to the person as the first thing to make them happy.

this hardy a movie review (no offense).....its him telling us what happens in it.......anyways Biollante is pretty awesome very scary looking, most realistic!..Pretty MEtal i must say......and i wouldnt mind seeing Biollante in the Legendary Pictures reboot of Godzilla!

Also how Erika's soul got in the rose because, I faintly remember that her dad gave her roses the day or the day before the lab blew up, and thats how her soul got in the roses, hopes that answeres your questions :)

not really. they have similarities, but kiryu is based on an actual skeleton, and not engeniered grom the dna. plus, there is no need for plug suits, lcl fluid, or childeren with kiryu.

i really see no resembelence.

and kiryu only went berserk that once due to genetic memory. the last time they lost controle, he just took godzilla out to see.

physically and mechanically he is not much like an eva, but the idea to use your enemy as a base for a weapon to stop your enemy is htere.
