  • can you let me know the software you edit the video? I am looking for something can let me make my video like you did..... you make a very good editing, thanks.

  • @bkbkcat

    windows movie maker

  • Very nice!

  • Nice videos, i wached all of them. But i have a question, do accidents happen??, i mean in my town trams go like 50km/h and when they smash a car they really smash it up very bad, but they don't get scratches every time witch is good for the tram and all, but you know no one likes to stay in line for too much of a time till the line is cleared.

  • Yes, it does but very rarely. Maybe once a year or less. Car drivers in Hong Kong do know the "rule", which they yield the tram first although they are in the tram rail track lane.

  • Tram is one of the oldest transportation in Hong Kong over 100 years. We do used to its slow moment, compared to other vehicles. It is a big comparison to our life style of quick pace, talking about efficiency.

  • Absolutely wonderful, with great quality and a stable camera. Really brings back a lot if memories since this video covers both my primary and secondary school, AND my childhood home in tai koo shing. Thank you so much.

  • yes. you're welcome. this is my reason to type this video for bringing back people's memories

  • Like I said on your channel, the Hong Kong transit system runs like a transit system should.

  • This reminds me of the Carson Home Videos that I remember ordering. All of my traction fans and some railfans miss him as well.

  • i see, what is carson home video?

  • Carson Home Video made several movies featuring rides oin trams, streetcars, and light rail.

  • Thanks f0r sharing this video!!

    我本來病左冇野做..又冇出街..於是上網search野..結果俾我搵到依套virtual ride系列!!我都想好似你咁周圍去..拍低d美好既回憶x)到時到你comment!!記住牙=]

  • poor guy. i hope my videos can cheer you up la !

  • Wow great video, job well done! Quarry Bay has been changed a lot; I used to live in 南豐新村 when I was a teenager, and I liked to play soccer in the basketball court lol; well, it was 25 years ago. There were not so many skywalks on King's Road back then. It really brings back my memories and nostalgia. I wish I could be there again, sigh.

  • great, you can find your best memory here

  • Nice video!!

I am a Hong Kong people, but I am not living on Hong Kong Island....

  • please share this video (and the rest) to your friends who are living oversea, so that they can always "ride" this tram.

  • Wow, Hong Kong Roads are so narrow. Great video

  • Thanks.

  • I used to live in Hongkong Island. I've been in US for over 20 years now. It's nice to watch a tram ride. The video & audio are great. It makes me feel like I'm the one who's riding. So much memories. I miss Hongkong. I watched this video 3 times already. By the way, I'm the same person who went to South China Union College & commented on your Yahoo blog. You did a great job. Thank You!!!!

  • You are very welcome. Please watch my other videos and visit here from time to time :>

  • Thanks for your great video since I was usually taken tram for school when I was young. Now, I'm in USA and so miss the moment of school life and the rest in HK.

Your video is taken very good with clear and stable.

    Thanks again!

  • Thanks for your comment.

  • Hi enjoyed watching this over my early Sunday morning breakfast. Nice and smooth camera work. Thank you!

  • Is everything uphill!? seems like hong kong is a lot of hills. how does hong kong compare to New York, in terms of buildings and size.

  • This is a flat land near seaside. At 5:00 to 6:30, this is uphill.

  • thanks for replying. i would like to see hong kong, what with the videos, i can get a feel of it. i noticed you did not reply to my inquiry about New York, do you not even like new york?

  • sorry not answer your question, 'cos i was in my rush at work.

like most of the big cities in the world, high-rised building are must, so does hong kong. as far as i know, there are many tall buildings in NY as well.

  • HK is a very small city, however, the population with a high density in the world. MongKok is one of those, e.g. 18 people shares 1 cubic foot, this number i could remember was 20 year ago. now, i think the number even higher.

  • HK has near 7 million people. size...i have to check it for you, anyway, small enough for what you think of, ha ha ha...

I never been to NY, but i was living in west coast for 8 years. but i can image the living way is smiliar to HK, as well as other big cities. in my video, i want to capture the city life, i wish i could do that, and share to everyone.

  • so i am pleased that you ask me, i hope i answered to you. please let me know if i don't

do you have any specific videos about NY?

  • I watch New York videos, although they're not as thorough as Hong Kong videos - and the videos are on youtube. just search 'New York ride' in search. From videos of HK, HK seems busier than New York, so I thought maybe it was bigger. New York is busy, but not as busy as HK. I also like the HK (building) lights. Honk Kong look's modern compared to ny. Although NY is still a big city. I still would like to see Hong Kong, it seems to look like the future compared to America.

  • please visit my blog: mongkk blogspot com. there are a lots of my previous video clips.

  • Or I should say it (HK) looks like the Future Compared to NY. I was tired near the end of my last comment and did not make it right.

  • Hong Kong my favorite place on earth

  • I hope you like this video and others. Thanks for you comment. And I will take more shots when I get time. So stay tune.

  • Yes, I was on the 2nd deck. Actually there was a up-down slide window with a handle, I held my DV and put onto it for filming.

I hope this video could bring people to feel the city life if they haven't been there.

Please take some more shots about Corvallis next time for me. I missed there. Thanks.

  • Looks like you set your camera (on a tripod?) on the second level of the tram. Hongkong certainly is one of the most interesting cities on earth.
