Could Matt 24:40 be talking about Christians? Both men are in the field.. both working... one is taken the other left. how do you tell the difference between the one who is taken and the one who is left?
I'm unsure about Tony's belief on the rapture. I noticed that he mentions Augustine and the other philosophers never speaking about the subject, but what about Jesus? Jesus does say in Matt. 24:40: "Two men will be in the field. One will be taken, the other will be left..." I always thought the ones that will be taken would be the saved people, but in Matt. 24:40 is Jesus referring to "children of iniquity" as the ones that will be taken?
1. I'm a missionary to Brazil. These "thousands of Brazilians going to pentecostal churches", unfortunately, are most of them attending false pseudo-Christian churches that are preaching "another gospel" (prosperity, etc.), not the true gospel of Jesus Christ. It makes our job, as true witnesses to salvation in Jesus Christ, that much harder.
Lots of things were said in this video, but everything has to be analyzed *by the Bible*, as you said! Here are a few discrepancies that came to my mind at the moment:
Tony mentioned "sexism, militeriasm, homophobians. . . All the things wrong with the world." Add to the list: "lookism." Yes, Jesus came declaring that the Kingdom of God is at hand. In other words, it's here now. It's not coming; it's here. I like that part. Blessed Be!

3. It's not true that the rapture was "invented" by Darby. Please read W.E.B.'s classic "Jesus is Coming" to refresh your memory.
There are other things to mention, but those three came to mind at the moment.
