  • Probably the first two songs are original from Konami. But the last one is the "Brahm's Hungarian Dance 5". I don't think the others are remakes of classical music...

  • these tracks are used for the 3 hidden bosses in the special stage. i'll upload videos of them as soon as i find a good recording program.

  • i uploaded a video showing all of the secret bosses.

  • Can you put links to the MP3s in the description?

  • @Lazy0Waffle

I don't have them anymore... they trapped on my old hard drive that decided to die one me last year :(

  • Too bad, the first song is really rad :<

  • Anybody have footage of these rare bosses?

  • If I can figure out exactly how to bring them out I would get it up here!!! :O

  • Hey, relax! I'm not just asking you, I'm asking other people, too. ^_^;

  • Isn't there one I heard about a penguin who looks homeless, but you have to get a lot of coins in special mode. I also heard there was a floating detached head. It's what i have heard, but this was a long time ago.

  • but it probably occurs after beating the game a number of times at a certain difficulty. not to sure, honest to say.

  • i dont see muchon this version. rare

  • the 'rare bosses' are indeed in the special/omake modes

there are 3 (2?) from memory

they appear based on your score.

i posted the info to gamefaqs years ago, but it was rejected :) perhaps no one believed me...?

i can't recall the exact scores, but there are 2 acheived by getting a very high score, and one from a very (VERY) low score. let me check for some info...

btw, i believe the low score boss is a penguin wearing a raincoat who... (won't spoil it!)

  • I gotta say that after listening to the exclusive well-hidden music here in the PC-Engine version of Parodius, I *really* enjoyed it!!! ^-^=b Makes you wonder why Konami apparently did not include the very same tracks for the original arcade version ( :( ), don't it?

    Anyway, great discovery, man!! :D

  • The Itro music seems differnt. Not that trippy beginning one. I know most of Parodius' music is a play on the classical music.
