@oldmartinukelady to play the E6 chord i use my pointer finger to hold down the third and fourth strings on the first fret while holding down the first string with my ring finger on the second fret. But you can play it which ever way is more comfortable to you. I play a G chord barring the bottom 3 strings on the second fret with my pointer and holding down the 2nd string with my middle finger on the 3rd fret. Its all about comfort and ease of play.

Great version! Fast,but FUN! I first heard this song by some friends fromKauai.Loved it. Was told that Manao and Co. did it. Other friend from Hawaii said Eddie Grant(Electric Ave.) wrote and recorded 9 years earlier. His "drop like you're hungry" instead of "drop cause I'm hungry" little different. His is much slower.
