  • one of my favorites, was there.

  • @wylynnc I was too! Wasn't "That's the Way of the World", and "I Wanna Be With You", the s#@**t?

  • dontcha get tired of hearing the same thing said about music from EVERY stinking era? "this was when music was really music". what hogwash! ALL era's have great music and crap. it's never changed and it never will. but there's always some idiot who has to say .... well ... basically what fireitupbedford said. got news for ya fire .... there are great singers and players today too. and there were great singers and players before you were born.

  • @theID2 the difference is that the performers before we were born actually sang, danced, and played an instrument. today, you can get on stage with singing or dancing or knowing what and instrument is. that's what fireitup was commenting on.

  • @jamesGreenmint you can't be serious. do you mean to suggest there was an era after the 60's where performers didn't play, sing, dance etc? what universe are you living in? there are more (some better, some worse ... as in ALL eras) performers today doing ALL of that.

  • Maurice Brilliance,

  • @pngaia Ditto! Ain't nothin' like some good ol' Maurice. He definitely moves your spirit, and if you've ever seen him live, you'll know what I mean

  • version accélérée ?...

  • This was a time in music where you either had to know how to sing or play an instrument that was the ONLY way you were getting on anybody's stage...

  • This performance taken from decmber 1981 at Oakland,Ca.
