the song is too high for the lead singer, he quite clearly can't hit the high notes in his head voice so he had to use a rather weak falsetto... they have done better with other songs.

I have been to see Perpetuum Jazzile live in Amsterdam and they were amazing! I think they are ace! Whoever comes up with some of PJ's arrangements is a genius. Some I don't personally care for, but that's not a knock on the talents of the ensemble or arranger, just my personal tastes. Much as I love "Africa", it's been covered by many groups, but this arrangement, along with "Joyful, Joyful", makes we wonder what they will come up with next. Where will they take us? I can hardly wait to see.
