  • Amen

  • @chicraig6421 give it up. they will continue to cherry pick the word of god to justify their bigotry and their "ick factor". If they continue to eat shelfish or wear cotton poly blends (amongst many things) then they are hypocrites.

  • Mr nut case Alan Cains , let me pick a BIble verse as you do-pick and choose- and you tell me if and how we should follow it:

    MARK 12:18-27

If a man dies childless, his widow is ordered by biblical law to have intercourse with each of his brothers in turn until she bears her deceased husband a male heir.

Do you in your crazy church follow Mark here?

FYI-God loves all HIs kids including the homosexual kind.

  • One can be gay, & Christian, there is no conflict. God made u & loves u just as u are. You are not an abomination Lev died with Christ on the cross. When my fellow Christians say u are disordered, your life is not acceptable to God; know they are flat out wrong. God does not want you to change, he made you who you are. I know hate hurts, some Churches/preachers hurt; know they r flat out wrong. Gay is not a sin, not in the Bible. 4 help The Trevor Project is there - 866 4UTREVOR. God loves you

  • @chicraig6421 - You can ignore Leviticus, but you cannot ignore Romans 1:27. This was after Christ had risen and send the Holy Spirit (the spirit of TRUTH), to indwell all true believers. Same sex unions are an abomination in His sight. This is not about "hate" or "bigotry." You can throw all the insults you like at me, but ultimately, God and His Word will be the final judge in the matter. God created Adam & Eve, not Adam & Steve. ALL unrepentent sinners will go to hell, homos included.

  • @bgibb101 Wow thanks for your permission to ignore Lev. Now you need to read Paul in context. You will find homosexuality is not a sin. What was it Jesus said about homosexuality?

Just an FYI - I am not an abomination-unless you feel God creates abominations. (are u preaching hate? Yes this is about hate and bigotry, but you call your false teaching what you want. Yes Adam & Eve practiced incest, and God put gays on his earth-deal with it.

    Homosexuality is not a sin.

    God loves all His kids

  • @chicraig6421 - God did not creat you as an "abomination," but your BEHAVIOR is an abomination in His sight. You keep syaing that Jesus did not condemn homosexuality - but He didn't say it was OK either. Scripture is perfectly clear, all sexual acts between people of the same gender, they are wrong. Period.

  • @bgibb101 Just how do you know what my BEHAVIOR is pray tell. The Bible is perfectly clear, homosexuality same as homosexual-where there is love-there is no sin, there is no difference.

If you speak about homosexual acts (like what goes on in prisons) then yes thats sin. However, homosexuality is not a sin, its not in the Bible. I know u want it to be but its not. Guess you have a hard time with what Jesus said about homosexuality, exactly, not 1 word.

  • @chicraig6421 - "homosexuality is not a sin, its not in the Bible." Please review Leviticus 18:22, Leviticus 20:13, I Corinthians 6;9, Jude 1:7, Romans 1:27. Every one of these passages refers to the deviant act of same sex activities. Homosexuality is expressly forbidden, whether it is prison rape (sodomy) or a consenting act between to men. And there is a serious price to pay for homosexuality. Why do you think that Sodom & Gomorrah were destroyed? ........more

  • @bgibb101 Oh my Lev died with Jesus on the Cross, as a Christian you should know that. What Paul, or Tim for that matter (you missed Tim) was talking about - if you read in context - was not about homosexuality but homosexual acts. In some cases to please pagan gods, prostitution, boys as toy-common in Rome & Paul knew it. Romans and Greeks thought the sperm of young men would keep them young. Those acts are sin, not homosexuality. Homosexuals fall in love same as hetros and both sin the same

  • @chicraig6421 - ""And turning the cities of Sodom and Gomorrha into ashes condemned them with an overthrow, making them an ensample unto those that after should live ungodly; And delivered just Lot, vexed with the filthy conversation of the wicked." (2 Peter, 2:6,7). Read about the mob of queers about to break down Lot's front door and rape the guests - two angelas disguised as men Genesis 19:4-9). No wonder the angels struck them blind!

  • @bgibb101 Sodom and G, you want to know about them turn to, Ezekiel 16:48-49. They did not fall because of queers, noop its about pride, excess, not helping the poor. I would really like to know what this preacher is his fancy suit gives to charity for the poor, down and out. That would be Jesus like, not spreading hate.

God loves all His kids, including the homosexual kind.

  • @chicraig6421 - God did NOT make you gay. Homosexuality is a lifestyle choice. Nobody ever forced you to engage in deviant sex with other men. You made that choice for yourself. Having sexual deesires towards others of the same gender is one thing - but engaging willingly in such behavior is quite another. It is all very well saying that "god loves us all." But He hates our sin and our sinful behavior, particularly when we willingly go against His Word simply for self-gratification.

  • @bgibb101 Just how is it you know God did not make me gay? Did you talk to God about it and he tall you that? If not, then how on Gods earth do you know how God made me?

You really need to watch what and how you say things, God knows all.

God loves all His kids, including heterosexuals, homosexuals, bi-sexuals, trans-sexual etc. God made us all, and loves us. The nut case in the vid will not be with our Father I'm thinkin, unless he changing his hate filled crap teachings.

  • @chicraig6421 - Read your Bible. God created us male and female to join together and procreat. Both male and female bring their own unique gender characteristics into a marriage for the creation and raising of children. If God had intended the human race to be fulfilled through both heterosexual and homosexual marriage, He would have designed our bodies to allow reproduction through both means and made both means of sexual intercourse healthy and natural.......more

  • @bgibb101 The Bible never mentions or condemns the concept we call same-sex marriage. Although opponents of same-sex marriage claim that lesbian, gay, bisexual, or transgender unions violate biblical principles, no verses in the Bible explicitly address gay marriage or committed same-sex relationships

  • @chicraig6421 - The purpose of marriage has always been to unite a man and a woman (to the exclusion of all others) so that they can have and raise children in the most natural and secure way. To claim that to deny two people of the same gender to marry is “discrimination” is the same as saying that it’s discrimination to deny that a square is a circle. Worse still, same-sex "married" couples go on to adopt children - not because they want kids, but to make a political statement.

  • @bgibb101 I would argue if we are all God's children, made in his likeness and image, then to deny access to any sacrament based on sexuality is exactly the same thing as denying it based on skin color, or anything else. People get married "for their mutual joy, that's what religious people do: care for each other in spite of difficulty. In marriage, couples grow closer to God: Being with one another in community is how you love God. That's what marriage is about.

  • @chicraig6421 - "Do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived: neither the sexually immoral, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor men who practice homosexuality, nor thieves, nor the greedy, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor swindlers will inherit the kingdom of God. And such were some of you. But you were washed, you were sanctified, you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and by the Spirit of our God." (1Corinthians 6:9-11)

  • @bgibb101 Yes I know the unrighteous will not inherit the Kingdom - and the nut in this vid - Alan Carins will not inherit, he is a bigot, and and idolatry. This nut is putting a book, the Bible above out Lord and preaches untruths. I truly feel sorry for people who follow this man.

    May God help him.

Mr. Carins, did you know God, loves all His kids, including the homosexuals that you seem to hate.

  • @chicraig6421 - Yes, God loves all of us, but He hates our sin. Jesus spoke twice as often about Hell than He did about heaven. Whether or not you agree with Cairns. Same-sex unions are clearly condemned by both the OT and NT as completely worng and detestable in the sight of God. It is your behavior and actions that are contrary to God's Word that will send you to Hell. We will all be judged by the Word of God. And the Word of God will determine what side of eternity you will go.....

  • @bgibb101 Wow we agree - God loves all His kids and hates sin. However we disagree - homosexuality is not a sin. I pray one day you will see the truth, ask Jesus for help and guidance, read in context.

  • Recognize that oppression is most often rooted in religious belief and ideologies of power in which women, people of color and non-gender conforming (lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, intersex and queer) people are subjugated and subjected to the violence of exclusion. You will find passionate dislike most often in dialogue with religious leaders, denominations and institutions who discriminate in polity, policy or practice.

  • @chicraig6421 - "Recognize that oppression is most often rooted in religious belief ." Depends what you mean by "oppression." This is certainly true in certain cult movements & Islam. However, GBLTs suffer from a higher precentage of addiction problems, depression and even partner-abuse in countries where their lifestyle isc fully protected, such as Denmark & Canada where they are fully protected under the law. This has more to do with their lifestyle than "discrimination."

  • @bgibb101 If what you say is true, (please tell me where you got your info), than could it be because of crap Christian preachers like this. Telling people gay or straight, that they are an abomination, dis-rodered and the like? Do you think after years of hearing that kind of speech one could get angry? I have felt the pain words can cause, even worse when coming from a preacher. If what you say is true, then we need to help our brothers and sisters, not kick them out.

  • @chicraig6421 - PEOPLE are not "an aboniation." But their conduct and 'lifestyle" can be judged as such.

  • The Bible never mentions or condemns the concept we call same-sex marriage. Although opponents of same-sex marriage claim that lesbian, gay, bisexual, or transgender unions violate biblical principles, no verses in the Bible explicitly address gay marriage or committed same-sex relationships "what therefore God has joined together, let no man separate" (Mark 10:9).

  • @chicraig6421 - "no verses in the Bible explicitly address gay marriage or committed same-sex relationships."

Please review Leviticus 18:22, Leviticus 20:13, 1 Corinthians 6:9, Jude 1:7, Romans 1:27. Whether same-sex relationships are "committed' or not, they are 100% wrong in the eyes of God. However, I understand why you think the way you do - you are living in darkness, mired into a life of sin & corruption, believing that you are fighting "religious bigots" when you are at war with God.

  • @bgibb101 Are you not tired of using the 7 verses yet out of context, trying to make them say something they do not?

I am not living in darkness, God saved me and there is no sin in being a homosexual, its not in the Bible.

All 7 verses you site or will site have to do with, pagan sex acts to pagan gods, boys as toys, prostitution, nothing there about homosexuality, I know you want there to be, but there just is not. Oh Lev died with Jesus, except for the 10 laws in stone.

  • @chicraig6421 - "All 7 verses you site or will site have to do with, pagan sex acts to pagan gods, boys as toys, prostitution, nothing there about homosexuality."

OPK lets go over this one again, shall we? "Do not lie with a man as one lies with a woman; that is detestable." (Leviticus 18:22). "'If a man lies with a man as one lies with a woman, both of them have done what is detestable. They must be put to death; their blood will be on their own heads." (Leviticus 20:13)........more

  • @chicraig6421 - "Do you not know that the wicked will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived: Neither the sexually immoral nor idolaters nor adulterers nor male prostitutes nor homosexual offenders." (I Corinthians 6:9). In a similar way, Sodom and Gomorrah and the surrounding towns gave themselves up to sexual immorality and perversion. They serve as an example of those who suffer the punishment of eternal fire." (Jude 1:7).........more

  • @bgibb101 Now you call me wicked, ok get it all out and feel better, spread that hate like this vid...do u feel better now?

Once again, homosexual acts are in the BIble (sex for pagan gods, prostitution, boys as toys), there is nothing in the Bible about homosexuality. Did you know there is no difference in sin between a homo or heterosexual? Bet not. Both fall in love, I know that maybe new to you, both can be monogamous, both can sin-no difference.

God loves all His kids, including the gays

  • @chicraig6421 - "In the same way the men also abandoned natural relations with women and were inflamed with lust for one another. Men committed indecent acts with other men, and received in themselves the due penalty for their perversion.' (Romans I:27). Nothing to do with homosexuality? These passages do not merely addess prostitution, but also same-sex relationsghips in particular. You can go on fooling yourself that your abominable relationship is "normal," but God will have the final say.

  • @bgibb101 Yes, I will tell you again, the Bible has homosexual acts in it, but not homosexuality. When men are in prison they have sex with one another are they gay, no. I don't understand why you have such a hard problem with this, really. It is you and the nut job in this vid Alan Cairns that are confused here and preaching lies. How dare you call my marriage abominable-that hate will get you no way, surly not to be with the Lord our God.

God loves all His kids, including the homosexual kind

  • Those who claim a “biblical definition of marriage” as a model for today ignore various marital arrangements in the Bible that would be illegal condemned today The Bible is filled with stories of polygamy & husbands taking concubines In accordance with the culture & laws of the past, women were often treated like property that could be traded or sold into marriage Today we understand that these examples of marriage reflect the cultural practices of the time rather than a spiritual model for 2day

  • Lord please pour your spirit upon ALL FLESH so all this division can stop, please God do it now. AMEN.

  • The bible is a stupid book written by deluded people from the bronze age. People who believe this junk should seek immediate psychiatric help for their delusions. Believing in the existence of God is the only delusion that people can have without being called crazy.

  • The Bible was not written by God but by council connived by man. It was man who picked & choose what to put in the Bible. Additional the Bible has changed many times over the years with re, re, re & new, new, new translations.

The actual word homosexual did not appear in any BIble prior to the 1950s and u know this, Jesus said not 1 word about homosexuality. 2 Greek words were re-translated from call boy and effeminate man to homosexual. fact check me! The man in this vid is a nut

  • @chicraig6421 - The word "homosexual' does not have to be in the Bible. The Bible speaks out against same sex relationships clearly, and even mentions the consequences of engaging in such acts.

  • @bgibb101 You are correct the actual word homosexual does not have to be in the Bible and it wasn't until the early 1950s. But as you should know if you are a Christian, homosexual orientation is not a sin, as its not in the BIble.

The Bible speaks of same sex acts to please pagan gods, boys as toys common back then, orgies, prostitution, but nothing there about homosexual orientation.

    Thanks and God bless you.

  • @chicraig6421 - OK. Review Leviticus 18:22, Leviticus 18:13, 1 Corinthians 6:9, Jude 1:7, and Romans 1;27. Same-sex relationships are expressly condemned, as is all forms of sexual sin. Having an attraction towards someone is not a sin as you say, but it becomes sinful when you axct upon those feelings and engage in same-sex avtivies.

    God bless you too.

  • @bgibb101 None of the verses you site (fyi there are 7 in the entire that are sited) are referring to homosexual orientation. Refresh my memory what was it exactly Jesus said about homosexuality-that Christian all consuming subject? Oh was it not 1 word?

Go read the Bible in context. The preacher in the vid will not be with the Lord. He is not teaching Christ's teachings.

God loves all HIs kids including the homosexual kind.

  • @chicraig6421 - I gave you verses that expressly condemn same-sex relationships. Jesus condemned sex outside of marriage. This applies eqwually to same-sex relationships. Its easy to preach that God loves everybody (which He does), but the judgement of God is rarely discussed. This includes "the sexually immoral" and THAT my friend means heterosexuals as well as GBLTs. Jesus .oved the sinner but condemned the sin, and all unrepentant sinners will be separated from God for eternity.

  • @bgibb101 Oh did I forget to tell you Im married to my same sex partner - Iowa - yep married in a Christian Church, by an ordained Christian minister, in that great honeymoon destination of Davenport.

Now go read the verses in context for the true meaning, not the twisted version like the nut in the vid does.

Im glad you agree - God loves all His kids including the homosexual kind, and being a homosexual is not a sin.

  • @chicraig6421 - No true Christian church or born-again pastor will perform a same-sex union. Jesus spoke of "lukewarm churches" in Revelation 3:16, "But since you are like lukewarm water, neither hot nor cold, I will spit you out of my mouth!" Churches that do not uphold the Gospel standard, that embrace every worldly fad & fashion, that ordain secular "ministers" and approve of sexual degenerate relationships, they will be spat out! God is not mocked, you WILL reap what you sow......

  • @bgibb101 Oops you are wrong again, one day you will get it right, I suggest you read the Bible in context. Also, just what makes a 'born-again pastor' the only preacher one should follow?

Don't know where you got or think homosexuality is a sin, it is not. Homosexuality is not in the Bible, the Bible is silent. Tell me what was it Jesus said about it/

  • @chicraig6421 - ....I say unto thee, Except a man be BORN AGAIN, he cannot see the kingdom of God (John 3.3). Jesus again repeated it to Nicodemus, a man of profound spiritual learning, but who still fell short of the mark.

Being BORN AGAIN, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the word of God, which liveth and abideth for ever. (I Peter 1:23). is consistent with a change, a radical transformation that happens in the believers life when they are Born Again in Christ.

  • @bgibb101 What - one can only be BORN ONCE, one cannot be BORN AGAIN.

Go believe that crap, and the crap this guys spews out, but I will not. I will not walk away from Christianity as this vid suggests, I will not attend Churches that kick people out like this preacher word-not Christ like, I will not give up my relationship with Christ based on the hate this nut spews, I just walk away from this kind of crap Christianity and to our Lord.

I suggest you do the same.

  • @chicraig6421 - "What - one can only be BORN ONCE, one cannot be BORN AGAIN."

Jesus explained this to Nicodemus, a ruler of the Jews: Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God. Nicodemus could'nt understand this, so Jesus explained, ....except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God. That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit. (John 3:1-7).

  • @chicraig6421 "I just walk away from this kind of crap Christianity and to our Lord."

You already have walked away from the Lord. You are involved in a homosexual relationship, in spite of Scripture's clear teaching that such behavior is completely unacceptable to God. GBLTs are always welcome in church, but they will not be comfortable with the fact that the Bible and Christianity in its true form will completely reject their lifestyle. Cairns is merely preaching the truth that you reject.

  • @chicraig6421 - "Homosexuality is not in the Bible, the Bible is silent. Tell me what was it Jesus said about it." The word "Homosexuality" is a 20th century term. The Bible uses the term sodomite. Modern versions us the term "homosexual". There are 5 Bible verses than clearly condemn same sex relationships. Two of these are in the OT and three are in the NT. Jesus saved the adulterous woman from being stoned to death, but admonished her to "go and sin no more." This goes for ALL, straight & gay

  • @bgibb101 Actual there are 7 verses that are sited-however, they have to do with homosexual acts, not homosexuality as I have explained in great detail, but is wasted on you as you are blind.

I agree sin is sin, gay or straight, however, homosexuality is not a sin.

The nut in the vid, pushes people away from Christ not to him-that is not Christian or Chris like. The man spreads hate, and is therefore responsible in part for people who kill there-self after listening to his crap preaching.

  • @chicraig6421 - Remember, The church exists to save people, not to bless the means of their damnation. No marriage can be sanctioned by any true Bible-believing church if the very basis of the marriage involves acts that put the couple outside of eternal salvation. No matter what our society may legislate, the law of God is clear - that a marriage is not a godly marriage if it is a same sex union.

  • @bgibb101 Who did Jesus hang around with?

    Did Jesus toss people out?

You are so wrong, Christians, unlike the nut in the vid, are to bring people in, show them the way to Christ. Read the Bible its all there, but read in context not cherry pick like this vid does. Again, sorry God blessed my same sex marriage, same as any. The only difference is who one falls in love with.

I guess I just wonder who u are to tell anyone who God blesses or not?

Are you sure u r a Christian? If yes act like one.

  • I can't believe people really listen to this nut case and believe the crap he spews. Wow, we are in trouble. This guy would toss the 1st, 2nd, 3rd stone, and think nothing of it. Really sad he calls himself a Christian. He is no Christian I want to know. wow.

  • In their efforts to condemn homosexuality, many sort through Mosaic Law to justify their personal disgust. Verses like Lev. 18:22 are selected while others like Deu 25: 11-12 are conviently ignored. The same is largely true with the New Testament. Acts of prostitution in 1 Cor. 6:9 as well as acts conducted in a pegan orgy are exploited as if they were reflective of all homosexuals. Homosexual advocates are often accused of twisting scripture when they may just be the ones straightening it out.

  • @chicraig6421 - All sexual sin is worng. Today, 70% of black children in the USA are born out of wedlock, with mothers having multiple kids to different fathers who never stick around to raise them. Conversely, Russia is undergoing a population crisis as 70% of women there are having abortions. Serial adulterers, homosexuals, prostitutes of all stripes, nutybr Mormon sects and hardline Islamists with multiple wives are all just plain wrong. no wonder we're in one big mess.

  • @bgibb101 Wow you put everyone in the same bag so to speak - is that except Christians? I didn't see any mention of that sect although you called out Mormons, Islamists, blacks, Russians. Then you lump queers with all the other 'stripes' you mention. Are you a Christian? If you are you really need to re-read the Bible (as does the overweight nut male in this vid who most likely feels women are inferior). If you are not a true Christian then please dis-regard. Oh being a queer is not a sin.

  • @chicraig6421 - The only people I put in the same bag are all unrepentent sinners, regardless of their religion, race, culture or sexual orientation. All UNREPENTENT sinners will go to hell, including those who glibly call themselves as "Christians" but do evil things. Think "Christian" militia, pedophile priests, and serial adulterers who go to church and sing "when we all get to Heaven." Only those who truly repent, come in Christ for the complete remission of sins and live for Him are saved.

  • @bgibb101 Let me just say you and I will never agree and I think you are flat out wrong.

Look to Jesus, not a book.

  • I figured a video like this would get comments and ratings like this, since it's not politically correct? Anyone agree?

  • The only abominations here are the inbred hate monger christians.

  • so its not considered bigotry to tell 2 consenting adults that their love is meaningless, sinful even. it's not bigotry to deny people you haven;t even met the rights to hve children, and claim that they would rape them. it isn't considered bigotry to deny someone of their basic human rights, just because they love someone. how is that NOT bigotry. you sir need to butt out of other peoples business and let them live their own lives, so grow up and stop being such a control freak.

  • Christians have no place condemning when we don't even know what reason a person may have been born homosexual, and the bible is writing against a people whose 'homosexuality' stemmed mainly from religious sex rituals/requirements, and a time when a man raping a male outsider was a sign of power. They also burned babies. Different culture/context. I like that u point out Jesus had more condemnation for apostate religious professors / corrupt religious powers than nearly anything/anyone else

  • Comment removed

  • If a man sleeps with his father's wife... both him and his father's wife is to be put to death. (Leviticus 20:11)

  • Don't wear clothes made of more than one fabric (Leviticus 19:19)

  • "People who believe what God says about homosexuality are often called "bigots" by people who are involved in the practice"

No. Bigots who quote, or misquote, the myths associated with the man-written Bible, are the problem. Those who know God's truth, which is that God creates gays and wants them to be homosexual, are NOT

"are believers in Jesus Christ actually the bigots?"

The people who condemn gays do not know or understand Christ. That's the problem, and that's why this video is absurd.

  • @MattFrame - Review Leviticus 18:22, Leviticus 20:13, Jude 1:7, 1 Corinthians 6:9, Romans 1:27. Believe what you like, but homosexuals suffer from shorter life spans, more ill health, contribute more STDs and intestinal parasites in major cities than any other group, have, more addiction problems and more depression & suicidal thoughts even in nations like the Netherlands & Denmark where they are fully accepted. Same-sex relationships are not just "wrong" they are death!

  • @bgibb101, you can pretend to believe any myth you choose, in order to justify your anti-gay lifestyle, but the facts are against you, I'm afraid. And so is God.

  • @MattFrame - Facts? Or propaganda?

  • @bgibb101, you deny the facts and depend up "religious" propaganda.

    (You asked.)

  • @bgibb101 none of which texts are more recent than 3-400 AD, c) God told no one what "scripture" includes or doesn't, men decided it at the council of Nicea in 325 after long debate, d) there are many, many serious textual differences between different old textual sources, e) there is tons of evidence that the church edited the bible post facto, and f) No Where does the bible itself claim inerrancy or demand literal reading, the nature of "inspiration" is not defined except they were "moved".

  • @bgibb101 ... last one. I could say a lot more about the verse debate.. starting with bear in mind we aren't talking science, just basic witness reliability. On that count there aren't just these 5-6 things we've talked about there are hundreds and hundreds (yes some on that site even to me are a stretch). Given all this and the points a-f I listed isn't it possible a fair and smart person COULD doubt the bible?

  • @bgibb101 The early church had many, many views of the bible, allegorical, literal, etc. Many (Origin, Clement, etc.) did not believe in talking snakes, Eden, etc., in a physical literal way. Same for hell, etc. Given all this, are you sure that God literally and actually does what you claim and that "he" condemns people who doubt THE ONLY INFORMATION "provided", i.e. the bible?... Maybe its the 2,000 year history of xian love that should convince people?

  • @bgibb101 If an open and fairly neutral person COULD doubt the bible AND (here is the point) since the ONLY information we have about Jesus, God, Jehovah, Heaven and Hell comes from and only from the bible then...how could you say that "God" fairly and rightly then sends said person to Hell, forever presumably? one more coming... are you saying an open and fairly neutral person will be sent to hell for not believing what the bible says?

  • No, bible man, you are not a bigot. That would be a compliment. You are far worse than that. You are hate incarnate and you justify your evil condemnations with a book, a book that repeatedly commands genocide and all the kinds of inhuman evil. You do not speak for God, little pervert, no matter how you piously quote a book.

  • @jmbates5179 - Homosexuals are the real bigots. They trash churches, throw used condoms at catholic priests (pedophiles attacking pedophiles, go figure), drag their critics into "human rights" kangaroo courts (Canada), threaten & intimidate those who dare to publicly disagree with them, demand access to our childrens classrooms, parade through our streets in their annual freak show and call it "pride," and overturn democratic votes by going through the courts if they don't like the outcome...

  • @bgibb101 They parade "our" streets? Please. Don't you know that the book you claim is inspired has tons and tons of obvious contradictions? How many angels at the tomb when Mary visited? Depends on the gospel you read. Was the stone already rolled away or not. Depends on the gospel. Did she "tell no one" or "run and tell the disciples" immediately? Depends on the gospel. Then you use this deeply fallible book to justify hatred. Typical fundy christian: dumb as dirt and mean as JHVH.

  • @jmbates5179 -OK, send me a list of Bible contradictions and I will be happy to address them.

  • @bgibb101 That is kind of you to address bible contradictions. These are from my next post. Examples: #367: 4 different accounts of Saul's death, #387: xians do and don't sin, #396 Solomon was David's 4th and 2nd son via Bathsheba, #415: Mary did and didn't tell about resurrection, #428 4 contradictory lists of Israel's 12 tribes. #386 Two different things Judas did with the silver, #351 God does and doesn't repent.

  • @jmbates5179 - No, there are two different accounts of Sauls's death. The firast was recorded in 1 Samuel 31:3-6. This records that the badly wounded Saul (hit by enemy archers) fell on his sword and thus committed suicide. The second account that was recorded in 2 Samuel 1:1-10 and was based on the claims of a young Amalekite. Notice that nowhere in 2 Samuel is it stated that this is what actually happened. This is what the young Amalekite CLAIMED to have happened......

  • @bgibb101 .. my real question is in Acts he says J. purchased a field with the blood $, in the gospel it says he threw it on the ground and hanged himself. The point is the money AND the death. I am sure you'd say he threw it then picked it up... Ridiculous but even so, agreed a 100% contradiction is where a) and b) cannot both be true. You danced all over the place both on the tribe listings (3 contradictory ones in the OT) and the God Repenting verses. Either the flat statement that God..

  • @jmbates5179 - Regarding Solomon, In 2 Samuel 12:15, 24, we see that after the first son born to David by Bathsheba had died, she bore another child to him, Solomon. The indication is that he is the second born by Bathsheba to David. However, then we come to 1 Chronicles 3:5, four sons of Bathsheba are listed who were born to David in Jerusalem: Shimea, Shobab, Nath-an, and Solomon. Is the writer of Chronicles telling us that Solomon was the youngest of all the sons born to David by Bathsheba?

  • @jmbates5179 - No, he does not tell us that this is the case. Notice in the first part of 1 Chronicles 3, the sons of David born in Hebron are given. We read of the firstborn, the second, third, fourth, fifth and sixth. Then between verse 5-9, the rest of David's children are mentioned. We are not told that they are in chronological order as the earlier children are. Why is Solomon listed after Shimea, Shobab and Nathan?....

  • @jmbates5179 - ....and “Mary and the other Mary” (Matthew 28:1) went to the empty tomb. To shed a bit more light on the biblical passage you cited, John mentions only Mary Magdalene explicitly at the tomb in his Gospel (John 20:1). But if we read carefully we see in the next verse (20:2) that Mary tells Peter, “They have taken the Lord out of the tomb but we don’t know where they have put him!” Other women did indeed go to the tomb with Mary, perhaps following closely behind. ....

  • @jmbates5179 - The NIV Bible says, the WE “indicates that there were others with Mary (see Matthew 28:1, Mark 16:1, Luke 24:10), though John does not identify them. So when John wrote his Gospel, he only mentions one woman by name but uses the plural pronoun “we” to indicate that others were with her. If the Gospel writers, two of whom were among the 12 disciples, wanted to fabricate a story about His ressurrection, , they would have put women at the tomb first, nor include Mary's testimony...

  • @jmbates5179 - OK, now to the 12 tribes. Naming the twelve tribes is a confusing task. Revelation 7:5-8 lists the 12 tribes as Judah, Reuben, Gad, Asher, Naphtali, Manasseh, Simeon, Levi, Issachar, Zebulun, Joseph and Benjamin. This is interesting…for the first time Joseph is listed as a tribe along with his son Manasseh. Why isn’t Ephraim listed? Why is Reuben listed, but not Dan? There are no perfect answers to these questions..

  • @jmbates5179 - Technically, there were more than twelve tribes if you count both of Joseph’s sons as tribes in addition to Joseph. Revelation 7 presents a list of 144,000 witnesses from twelve different tribes. It does not say why Ephraim and Dan are not listed. God simply decided not to include witnesses from those two tribes. Dan may have been left off the list in Revelation 7 because of Genesis 49:17.....

  • @jmbates5179 - Which states, “Dan will be a serpent by the roadside, a viper along the path, that bites the horse's heels so that its rider tumbles backward.” However, every list in the Bible contains Simeon, Judah, Gad, Asher, Naphtali, Manasseh, Issachar, Zebulun, and Benjamin. In addition to those nine tribes, there are Ephraim, Reuben, Joseph, Dan, and Levi. Whatever the case, God is free to re-adjust and re-count the twelve tribes of Israel as He sees fit.

  • @jmbates5179 - As for God 'repenting,' We read in Malachi 3:6, 'For I am the Lord, I change not'; and in James 1:17, 'Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and cometh down from the Father of lights, with whom is no variableness, neither shadow of turning'; and 1st Samuel 15:29, 'And also the strength of Israel will not lie nor repent: for He is not a man that he should repent.' But in apparently flat contradiction of these we read in Jonah 3:10....

  • @jmbates5179 - 'And God saw their works, that they turned from their evil way; and God repented of the evil that He had said that He would do unto them, and He did it not'; and in Genesis 6:6, 'And it repented the Lord, that He had made man on the earth, and it grieved Him at His heart.' Here it not only says, 'it repented God,' but 'it grieved Him at His heart.' Now this appears like a flat contradiction, so what is the explanation?.....

  • @jmbates5179 - What the first set of passages says is absolutely true, that God is unchangeable, He is 'the same yesterday, and today and forever' (Hebrews 13:8). But the second class of passages is also true, for if God does remain the same in character, infinitely hating sin and absolutely unchangeable in His purpose to visit sin with judgment, then if any city or any person changes in attitude toward sin, God must necessarily change in His attitude toward that person or city.....

  • @jmbates5179 - If God remains the same, if His attitude toward sin and righteousness is unchanging, then so must His dealings with men change as they turn from sin to repentance. His character remains ever the same, but His dealings with men change as they change from the position that is hateful to His unchanging hatred of sin to one that is pleasing to His unchanging love of righteousness.

  • @jmbates5179 Thanks. Thorough work. But. Firstly you treat Saul's and Judas's death curiously. If a DA investigating a death was told a) he was KILLED by lions, and by someone else b) he drank poison that DA would not jump at the very, very unlikely as you do -- that he was just WOUNDED by lions and later drank poison. No, it is not 1000% impossible but you are willing to take that chance. You put words into Luke's mouth. Luke says zilch about a rope or hanging or decomposition.. but

  • @jmbates5179 .. NOT repent (change his mind) is true or it is not, it cannot be both. The subject is the bible itself not God's nature, thus all that stuff you said is irrelevant. Likewise you ignored the relevant point in the Mary stories. I gather you are trying to say that Mary a told no one but Mary b did. Right. Ok, but that is just the beginning. How many Angels were at the tomb? Was the stone initially rolled away or not? a or b. I realize you are willing to say anything at all

  • @bgibb101 Those bible contradictions are from skepticsannotatedbible dot c o m. I can't post the full address here. Go to that site and then click on contradictions / by name on the left. I'd say 60% of the list of 450 are genuine self-contradictions. I look forward to your reply.

  • @jmbates5179 - Now, this may be as simple as listing the son of David by Bath-sheba who would take the throne, and whose genealogy is followed last. The text does not actually say it is chronological. Since 2 Samuel 12 shows Solomon to be older than the others, we know it is not chronological. So really, there is no contradiction at all.

  • @jmbates5179 - Again, It’s important to clarify between a biblical inaccuracy (not necessarily a contradiction) and what a Gospel writer simply chose to include or emphasize in his account. A contradiction is to affirm and deny the same thing, at the same time, in the same respect. A contradiction regarding the eyewitness testimony cited would be, for instance, that “only Mary Magdalene went to the empty tomb” – which is something that no Gospel writer actually stated. ...

  • @jmbates5179 - As for Judas, Matt 27:5 states that Judas "threw the pieces of silver....and he went away and hanged himself." Acts 1:18 states, "and falling headlong, he burst open in the middle and all his bowels gushed out." Luke explains what happened later, after Judas' body began to decompose. The corpse slipped from the rope, "falling headlong, . . . burst open in the middle and all his entrails gushed out"—the ignominious, yet deserved end of "the son of perdition" (John 17:12).

  • @bgibb101 if you can avoid basic considerations of reliable witness testimony. I have showed you a number of TEXTUAL opposites. The tribes in Chronicles and I Sam are this or that, not this and that. Period, God's nature or whatever is obfuscation. If God DOES NOT repent then he cannot repent. A textual contradiction. The first person(s) at the tomb either saw the stone rolled away already or did not. The biblical witnesses say incompatible things at different times. Why, how?

  • @bgibb101 Either a) the bible is inspired in a way that is not literal and/or inerrant, or b) it is not inspired at all. My view is a), there is zero reason to believe the world is about 5,000 years old which the bible flatly states (add up the generations). The list of bible issues is very, very long. We haven't even discussed a) the bible no where explains which writings are "inspired" so how could you know, b) we have translations of copies or copies of copies, none of which

  • @jmbates5179 - " Typical fundy christian: dumb as dirt and mean as JHVH."

Showing a bit of bigotry of your own, eh? i do not "hate" homosexuals as people, but I hate what they do. It is YOU who are the real bigots.

  • @bgibb101 homosexual does not equal pedophiles

    saying otherwise does show bigotry

  • @idaman12345 - You are right. Not ALL homosexuals are pedophiles. However, one third of all convicted pedophiles in the USA are homosexual men. This is shocking, considering how small that community is. This not about bigotry. This is a fact, plain and simple.

  • @bgibb101 more closer to 96% are straight actually, and its around 10% of the population is gay

  • @idaman12345 - in most populations gays only make up 1-3% of the population. the 10% myth was created by misrepresentation of the " research " on one Dr. Kinsey who interviewed sex offenders in jail and recorded that 10 % of them were admitted homosexuals. he included men who have had a "gay experience." However, more accurate figures reveal that only 2% of the population live the GBLT lifestyle. Queers tout the "10%" figure because it makes them sound more numerous than they really are.

  • @bgibb101 Christians have no place condemning when we don't even know what reason a person may have been born homosexual, and the bible is writing against a people whose 'homosexuality' stemmed mainly from religious sex rituals/requirements, at a time when a man raping a male outsider was a sign of power. They also burned babies. Different culture/context. Jesus had more condemnation for apostate religious professors / corrupt religious powers (this vid) than nearly anything/anyone else

  • @chicraig6421 -Christians do not condemn the person - only the actions. Raping other men, burning babies? Did Christians ever say these things were right? Not one that I know. Yes, Jesus condemned the ruling religious figures of his day as hypocrites and snakes. And he was right! But this does not excuse homosexual behavior, or even gross sexual sins of heterosexuals. As I said before, had we obeyed God's laws on sexual chastity , we would be in this mess today, would we?

  • @bgibb101 Interesting how you think you can separate the person from the actions; just how do you do that? Sorry to infrom but back in the day Christians did rape and burn babies, & witches in the USA. God's laws on chastity, if we followed Jesus's lead on chastity no one would be here today as he was un-married correct? Which is odd in itself don't ya think, having only male apostles and no wife? Bottom line the man in this vid is a bigot - homosexual orientation is not a sin. God loves you.

  • @chicraig6421 - Burning witches was one thing, but raping babies? Please. Show me anywhere in the New Testament where Jesus admonished His followers to commit such vile acts. Indeed, anyone who claims to be a Christ follower and does those things will have their place in the lake of fire. Jesus was unmarried, but he join in with the celebrations at the marrigae feast of Cana and loved children. Yes, God loves you, but He is also a God of judgement and homosexual ACTS are expressly condemned.

  • @bgibb101 And you are flat out wrong. Sorry to say you are no Christian I want to know, actually you are no person I want to know. Have fun in the lake when you die.

God loves you even though you are troubled.

  • @chicraig6421 - The world of God is perfectly clear on thwe matter. ALL unprepentent sinners will find their place in the lake of fire. If you reject the Bible, how can you accept Jesus? Is not He the only begotten Son of God? Is the New testament not His word? Want to know who is going to the flames? Read Revelation 21:8.

  • What does the bible say? Does that answer it, no more thinking needed? Well, friends, the bible directly commands Slavery. "God" directly commanded Israel to slaughter children and to commit genocide, repeatedly. "God" murdered everyone by flood, except Noah's family. No further thought needed other than quoting the bible? The bible directly teaches you can kill you child if he "dishonors" you. No further thought needed? This man teaches that our creator is a vicious, genocidal maniac.

  • @jmbates5179 - God repeatedly beseeched those nations to turn away from their evil ways (temple prostitutes, child sacrifices and idol worship etc) and turn back to Him. They rejected His offer, murdered His prophets and waged war against His people, the Hebrews. They brought the wrath of God upon themselves. Noah preached the message of repentance for 120 years before the Flood finally hit. Nobody listened and nobody cared. Again, they brought judgment upon themselves in the end.

  • Hmmmmmm did u read the bible?

  • Just further proof that christians are mentally retarded bigots that are too inbred and lazy to read their own fucking bible. Thanks innernets!

  • @MrCommonSense100 - "Just further proof that christians are mentally retarded bigots that are too inbred and lazy to read their own fucking bible. Thanks innernets!"

No, it shows that you hate anyone who dares to disagree with you. Christians are among the few last people who stand against you and your filthy, degenerate "lifestyle." Your determination to silence your critics and force churches to accept" sexual deviants is only part of the homosexual agenda.

  • @bgibb101 Why don't you go drink some poison you filthy degenerate hypocritical scumbag? You know, Do something good for once in your worthless life.

  • @MrCommonSense100 - "Why don't you go drink some poison you filthy degenerate hypocritical scumbag? You know, Do something good for once in your worthless life."

Is that your "common sense" reply?

  • @bgibb101 No it's my you christians are worthless trash and no one gives a damn about your worthless built on sin religion answer.

  • @MrCommonSense100 - over 50% of the world's AIDS sufferers are cared for by Christians. Missionaries continue to buils schools, hospitals and develop agricultural projects the world over where you so-called "enlightened" secular people would not dare to go. The farther away we remove ourselves from Biblical moralitry, the worst the world gets. Your problem is, you do not want to be held accountable for your behaviour. Let's see how your "common sense" will stand up when you stand before God.

  • @bgibb101 So by not forcing my beliefs down others throats and trying to turn them into brainless zombies under the guise of "helping" them. I'm wrong? Thank you for that shining example of christian ignorance.

  • @MrCommonSense100 - Brainless zombies, ior helping them escape a "lifestyle' of sexual perversion that could kill them slowly thorugh an incurable disease? Your own ignorance is shining through.

  • @bgibb101 You christians are too stupid to realize how completely worthless you are. It's pathetic really.

  • @MrCommonSense100 - Showing your own bigotry only reveals just how laughble your own moniker of "MrCommonSense" really is.

  • @bgibb101 It makes me feel warm and fuzzy inside knowing that you will be burning in hell like the piece of stupid contradictory piece of inbred trash you are. ;)

  • @MrCommonSense100 - "Burning in Hell?" Do you really believe in the Bible's picture of hell or your own ideas? If you really want to know who is going to hell, then please review Revelation 21:8.

  • @bgibb101 A. You're canadian. B. You SAY that you are a CEO of a make believe company on your profile. Just how pathetic are you?

  • @MrCommonSense100 - Nothing is more patheitc than your constant whining and sniping. Is there an actual POINT to your posts, or do you just like wasting people's time?

  • @MrCommonSense100 - Over 50% of the world's AIDS sufferers are cared for by Christians. Should we then walk away and let then suffer? Hey, I know, let the Muslims take care of them. Why not? the Muzzies know just how to "take care" of queers, judging by what happens to gays in Muslim lands, right?

  • @MrCommonSense100 - Why that's very 'common sense" of you.

  • @MrCommonSense100 - People of faith tend to be healthier, live longer and enjoy much more fulfilling lives that queers who live shorter lives, are less healthier and suffer from more STDs and life-threatening conditions.

  • @bgibb101 people of faith have a tendency to not think for themselves

  • @idaman12345 - Muslims are commanded by the Koran to establish a one world-Muslim state. You will have three choices; You can convert to Islam ans save your skin, you can be endentured as a slave to a Muslim family for the rest of your life, or you can elect to be beheaded. Since 9/11, over 17,000 acts of terrorism around the world have been committed by Muslims. No, they really ARE thinking about it - just how many more "infidels' they can kill to fulfill their twistsed fantasy.

  • @bgibb101 muslims do it because they are brainwashed to do it by others

  • @idaman12345 - Muslims are brainwashed by their own extremists. When was the last time Baptists flew airliners into buildings or Lutherans sent out suicide bombers?

  • I never realized there was a Sodomite Army. I think I want to join.

  • I never heard of "Sodomite lobbyist" before this video. I had to chuckle at Alan Cairns comments. The sad thing is the unfortunate people that will believe his rants. For those that haven't caught on, Yes I am a Gay Christian. I know that god loves me, if not why would he answer my prayers as perfectly as prayed for? God does not condone hatred in any form. Jesus's teachings are to teach loving one another. Too many politicians and religious leaders prove their bigotry and then come out or cheat

  • If the Bible is bigoted, and you follow it, then that makes you a bigot. It's really that simple.

  • The Bible condemns a lot of things. Got any tattoos? Ever trimmed your sideburns or eaten shrimp? Guess what, you're going to Hell.

  • Fummm Geenvilshouthcalina we pezent...

  • i just can't believe im thinking about masturbating right now, this video turns me on

  • @ApocalypseNow0I2 can't do that in your new home HELL

  • Dr. Caims, what do you think Jesus would say about what and how you are preaching? You pervert the words of the Bible, you tell lies, you put down people that you do not know, wow what a good Christian you are, what a role model. You use the word bigot quite a bit, have you looked in the mirror lately sir? You know or should know when Paul wrote the letters to Romans it was after travels seeing perverted sex act to pagan gods, not homosexuality as you say. Tell the truth b4 its to late for you
