  • is a NAS on the table?

  • @spikeman316

    Just my PC...

  • So that's what happened to that spine you ripped out of an android.

  • Yeah, the new honda Asimo was no match for my secret move: Up,Up,Down,Down,Left,Right,Left,Right, B,A,

Oh, SH!T he's still coming after me! Quick! Climb some stairs!

Oh crap, escape is futile, he can pursue me up gradual inclines.

AAH! No I don't want any hot tea Asimo!!

  • That's because you didnt press start after the infamous Konami code :P.

  • what's going on here, I was looking for kissing lesbians

  • ah, Ben. Sometimes I want to ask, how old are you again?

  • It must run in your family to invent stuff.

  • Thats some insane gear you made there.

I too read the DIY cintiq blog and unfortuately I simply don't have deep enough electronics knowledge to pull one off sadly.

I thought about buying a 21UX but thankfully I found out about it screen scratching easily so I will not buy it till it is fully fixed.

I'm too poor to buy a cintiq every 3 months because it scratched to death, or get it repaired. Why should we have to?

Becase of this cintiq is biggest rip-off :(

  • Yeah, I agree wacom ownz the market

Wacom could do better with their designs, I've never even put my hands on a cintiq, so I can't say, but I've heard reports of poor craftsmanship.

Speaking of which... The tricky part of the DIY cintiq is crafting a case to hold the lcd screen ontop of and aligned with the wacom sensor. There's very little you must fabricate electronics wise. Mainly lengthening some wires. Generally be sure the ( - ) ground wire is attached between anything electrical

  • Ya interesting, your tempting me to try make one LOL.

Currently I got Intuos A4 SE edition (came with airbrush and mouse as well as the normal pen) was quite a saving compaired to seperates, though I never use the mouse (not that good) and the airbrush is nice but the wheel is poor design and too sensitive and can't be calibrated (I think).

Hmm I'm tempted to try turning my A4 SE into a interactive dispaly A-Team style :D

Anyhow enjoy the creation and good luck on future endeavours.

  • Awesome. I can't wait to see this running. I see what you mean about the CoG. It almost needs the spine to be tilted further back? or perhaps you could attach put a foot plate underneath?

    Utterly fantastic build though.
