i have a question...with my mac mini..i want to install windows via parallels server would i be able to use media center over my home network to my extenders that way?
Ok so your going to pay 700 bucks for a Mac mini(atleast that's how much they are now) just so you could run windows 7 on it? I'm not being rude but what's the point of that?
@jwhitloctombraider I know im kinda interupting and all, but I just wana say this. I have a Mac Mini and i run Windows server on it. I chose to do that because the Mac Mini is smaller than traditional computers so it would fit on the rack with my RAID setup.
Do you, by any chance, have your mac mini on its side because of internet problems? I had mine in regular position, then internet always died out. Placed it on its side, and it was all better.

We've already been using Windows 7 for about a week now and its astounding. If anyone wants it, you could down load it from Windows7FreeDLXcom (replace X with . ) totally free.
For better stability on the mac, you should insert the restore dvd that came with the mac into windows and it will install drivers to control the volume and bluetooth and eject buttion on keyboard
All drivers needed for the mini were already on the Win7 install CD. The only problem I had which I can see was the same on this video is getting sound. I was set back how well Win7 did run on my MINI running at 1.83ghz with only 1GB of memory.
Could you use Windows 7 on the Mac Mini to play games? I would assume that the system itself is pretty powerful.

@cmhchill2 what exactly you mean by connecting it? This guy installed both windows7 and OSX on his machine, both in the same drive..
If you ask whether you can boot the OSX through the laptop running other os, the answer is no.
However you can remotely control the Mac from any OS using teamviewer or any remote desktop program.
