yea, WM doesnt have any semi auto trucks here so they dont buy the carts with bars. the only manual truck they have has an automated arm so they dont need the bars

yea. they bought out american waste for these routes and kept there carts too. its in La Habra CA

trash goes to the brea canyon dump.. by my house. i can see it from my house lol

and recy goes to the MRF idk where its actually located

W O W! Those Elliptical/Petes are some of the NICEST looking WM trucks I've seen in a lonnnngg time! I hate to request it, but do you think you could send me all these pics? These are some truly beautiful trucks...Thank you very much for posting Mike, hope you got footage...?

sorry. my computer got a virus so all pics were erased.. :[and this trip was when i didnt have a video camera so i didnt get any shots.. however i have one now and last week went back and got footage! buut i couldnt find the mcneilus :[

Oh that sucks. Do you think you could sometime go back to La Habra and get at least these Petes (ones without doors look most awesome to me) in action as well as some pics?

I have seen old Blue Barrel Disposal Amrep ASLs in Mack LE (in Blue Barrel and WM colors) showing up in the GI yard in Simi Valley. The elliptical Amreps are really new, and I have not seen any Pete-Amreps or Wittke ASLs arrive yet. I think that Blue Barrel only does Saugus after the Burrtec takeover happened.

I have yet to catch one those ex-BBD trucks being run by GI. I hope the elliptical Amreps and Wittkes get shipped over. I think everything will eventually get shipped over. GI gives out Schaefer carts in 60 gallon for blue trash and gray recycling, and 90 gallon for green yard waste.

its got such a deep grown you can feel the ground shake! i love the new trucks

here in this area blue is recycle and grey trash. reason fot it is because they bought american waste i beleive it was and thats how they had it so if they changed it the customers would be like WTF!!! lol

and there would be a lot of contamination from confused people haha
