HEY PLEASEEE I CANT INSTALL FIFA2010 ,I HAVE PREENV 1.7 THE LAST ONE AND I AM DOING ALL THE THINGS ON THE RIGHT WAY,BUT IN THE END WHEN I MAKE "./ fifa" it is thinking a few seconds and it shows like it will open the game -white screen for few seconds and finaly nothing its stops. Please show how to install it and also realsoccer2010. Pleasee,I will pay you money for this favour

Dude I followed your instructions but when I play the game I have no keyboard command for jump and when I try to move with for example W for forward it just moves a little bit (more like it tweaks). I tried even with an sh mode but it's the same. Do you have any idea why? I have the latest preenv and maemo with pr1.2

@the1fallen3 It should work. Did you copy everything into the right folder? I would even try and see if there is a newer file for the movement configuration available.

@aboyasser1000 Usually you would get tha on a dead link but I just double checked and the link for the patch is still working. I would check your typing incase you made a mistake. Also ensure you are using 2g/3g web connection instead of wifi.

@JJRR89 its a common mistake, it means you are not in the right path when you are typing the command

Great Video! I am definitely purchasing the Nokia N900. Your video's definitely changed my mine to purchase this phone & I know that Nokia is going to be using the windows based in the future, but to me the Nokia N900 looks to be the best for a person like me a computer geek & especially now that I know that it runs off of a form of Debian. At the moment I have Samsung Vibrant on T-Mobile which I hate, to me android is a hot mess & I have an old Apple iPhone 3GS. Nokia looks made for us geeks.

@ghostaliaz well you since you are a computer geek (as you said yourself), you will def have fun with this handset. However over the time that I have had it, there has been ups n downs, a lot of the apps are buggy, and considering the hardware spec theres a lot better n faster handsets out there but then again this is open source so you can have plenty of fun if your a dev.

I am considering getting a change now and looking at the samsuns omnia 7 or focus.....hmmm not sure which 1 to get.

@69bitchboy u can get "rootsh package from here:

@maemo.org/downloads/product/M­aemo5/rootsh/

It provides the root (i.e. super-user / administrator) access and gives you permission to access, modify, delete, etc. every file and folder. After installing the package, just type:

sudo gainroot

in the X Terminal and now you fully OWN the system.

@69bitchboy While providing such an advanced access to the whole operating system, the X Terminal is at the same time well protected against users unintentionally modifying important system files or the file system structure, which might result in damaging the operating system or even bricking the device, and against malicious software meant to damage or infect the system.But there is an easy way to get FULL access to EVERYTHING. All u need to do is to install the rootsh package.

69bitchboy@: xterminal is an App on nokia n900. go to Menu--> scrol down and find an app called "xterminal". X Terminal works as a "window" to the heart of the OS. X Terminal itself, as already mentioned, it lets you see and access the whole operating system, each single system folder and file, including e.g. system configuration files. You can do this using its built-in commands (similar to DOS ones, e.g. ls to show folder contents, cd to change a folder, etc.

@lucky88shp which game are you trying to install and which config script you downloading? I use 3G when downloading in x-terminal as wifi doesnt seem to work for me on x-terminal. PM me with further details so i can help.

@360NextLevel Im tryin to use the script for NOVA by mido.fayad, and its a .sh file ofcourse. But the prob i cant download it to the internal memory but i can on my sd card which is useless..

Hey also, can u show me how to get the keyboard to work, i got the file via the commands u put in the vid but when i download the config/script file for a specific game and try to put it in MyDocs folder it say "the destination is read-only"...(i went in xterm and typed root and then tried still no go!)

@lordmohid Just to be even clearer make sure u type "root" then pres enter key, then type in wget.

do note this is always required in xterminal when you are using other commands to move, edit, install files etc.

@shinigamijim20 current version is 0.1.4 and once you have it installed then you would just update it when your app manager detects a new update.
