I completely agree with you there. I think the thing with Brand New is, that people might not like it at first time. Instead of bands like Fall Out Boy, who go for the catchy songs without much thought in lyrics, Brand New goes for the dark/deep/smart/awesome lyrics. People have to grow into that to love it.
I feel exactly the same like you, the more you listen to them - the more you will appreciate them and the better they get =)
@roelfreriks same here and these songs will always be classics. I love brand new, there is never any doubting my loyalty to them but, there are bands like alkaline trio that i grew to love them so much but, after five years of listening to them i started to grow apart. I'm Brand New isnt that kind of band :)
@IBslayed YES! these are two of my favorite bands, and i especially find it with coheed. people dont give them a chance. i cannot stand it when i try to get people to listen to coheed and they immediately dislike it because "he sounds like a girl" (which is bullshit.) im glad someone shares my opinion.
They have sarcastic humor...which many people may not understand.

Jesse Lacey has a way with words that I'll never understand but...he in the same way can pinpoint my feelings in so many situations.
yeah. i agree. brand new has been my favorite band for three years or so, but i wasn't a huge fan at first, then the more i kept listening to it the more i loved it
@xBrandNew19x i love people who actually acknowledge the talent brand new has with lyrics. its like all other bands are just surface deep with lyrics..and not hard to get. Brand New is .. always brand new to me. Everytime i listen the lyrics get more powerful and i look deeper into the meaning of them. Love all you brand new fans and brand new <3
