It's a download called design kit ... you can download it from modthesims2(dot)com you get a bunch of other stuff like curved walls , half .... in that same kit you get those white details seen in 1:02 .... glad to help

About the walls, well, glass is ligher so it should too. This can be made real, if not then the dessign should change just a bit, not too much.

how can you place things like beds and other stuff diagonal?

opn the cheat menu ( ctrl+shift+c ) and type in :

boolProp allow45DegreeAngleOfRotation true

..... dont forget the spaces between words and capitals .... type right as I have shown you .

If some objects in not optional and able to remove ( I have no idea how will I replace the stairs , and the windows will be ... NORMAL !!! OMG ! )... I will give you a link for it ...
