So they were on the plane that probably wasnt going to crash before if they were dead. and because of them they caused a chain reaction for all the final destination films...well i know it fits in for fd 2 not the rest tho....

@720942008 there was a leak in one of the fuel tanks if i remember right, which caused the turbine to explode. then the fire set the rest fuel on fire. Result = Big Boom. and the pilots tried to get down again. when alex looks out of the window you can see that tehy are trieng to turn.

They didn't dim the cabin lights in FD1 as they did in FD5. We also didnt see the ppl throwing their hands in the air & cheering as the plane ascended. Plus the HS French teachers voice is also MIA. I also noticed that the plane crash scene seemed relatively longer in FD1 than FD5. Btw, I dont think they were sitting in a different cabin seeing as how Sam was able to see Alex & Carter being kicked outta the plane. Looked as if Sam was sitting in the back of the same cabin section as the FD1 ppl.

I believe that people who made this movie had no idea it would be that sucessfull (making maaany sequences). The name FINAL DESTINATION is related to the fact that the destination of this flight would be the last of their life. In the other movies, the same name is used (since its a sequence), but it was all because of the first movie accident.
