  • An excellent iconoclasm . . . good service to the world . . . thank you!

    Jaymz

  • The little girl is beautiful !

  • Auditioning for this today...

  • i'm not sure how to interpret this but i kind of like it. a rather interesting way of portraying such an incredible sacrifice. to laugh at the silly parts or to smile to the little girl's courage? nice work !!

  • this was sooo cool ^^

  • Was this actually used in the production at Yale?

  • Looking for her in the fridge and down the sofa.

    HA!

  • check out "pillowman tears of a gangster" its freakin' awsome.

  • im doing this play for my a levels and im doing a monoloug as michal . and its really hard to act brain damaged realisticly :( any suggestions ?

  • My college did this play last week!

Very well done, it was fantastic!!!

  • I thought it was great. Because in the end, we will be asked to believe or deny Christ, she never gave up no matter how she was treated, that's how it will be in the end. We will have to choose.

  • WHAT THE FUCK IS THIS OMG WHAT THE FUCK WHAT THE FUCK

  • @loyesj I know, I know. It seems terrible but in the context of the play it's vital. You should read it. It's called "The Pillowman"

  • is it true?

  • @LegoMasterAlex Its from the play pillowman. Check it out

  • very very good

  • very well done! I've never seen this story before but it's very humerous yet serrious.

  • I dont get it

  • this is one of my favourite plays

  • @handenbinder

    you're a fucking fool.

  • I know a few kids from my school who did this scene for a drama competition and they earned Critics Choice. This is a pretty good scene

  • i saw this play in leicester and i have to say it is the best play i have ever seen, and this video does it justice.very well done.

  • A little surreal, but damn good idea for a story/play. Good video.

  • wtf? i can't believe i decided to be in this play, hella dark shit

  • very nice

  • you turned it into a comedy....it def isnt...

  • There are lots of comedic elements actually.

  • Actually... the play is considered a dark comedy. Like all of Martin McDonagh's plays.

  • Why are people mocking jesus????

    I truely wheep over them!!!!!

Coz they didnt crasp the meaning of the true facts that jesus died some 2000 years ago, being innocent as he was, for our sins!!!! So after our earthly life, we could once live a life in heaven!!!

So plz dont ridicule him anymore!!!!

Or you are worse then the worst men, who tried and tortured and hanged a completely innocent man!!!!

  • I think you're missing the point.

  • I'm Christian, but your response is extremely ignorant, fundamentalist, and intellectually wanting.

This excerpt from the play wasn't about mocking Jesus. It was meant to contrast the beauty of such a sacrifice amidst the macabre nature of the rest of the play.

As a fellow Christian to another, please expand your reading range to beyond just the Bible, so that you don't mock the rest of us believers with your trite, pastoral observations about Jesus.

  • I wish i could delete yr comment, your an embarassment to what Christians should be.

infact your not a christian your a joker.

  • I find your opinion disgusting and flagrantly immoral. Explain to me how it is that someone who performs a scene from a play could ever be worse than someone who tortures another person to death.

  • No, hannahmontana123hsm, it is not real, relax.. kinda disturbing and thought provoking at the same time. her mom is hot though, hehehe.

  • This was aweosme. I think the overvoice guy really made it what it was, and the music.

I got a chill down my spine when her parents died.

  • Seriously guys (respondents), if you guys like this story, read THE PILLOWMAN by Martin McDonagh. There are a lot of effed up stories in the play.

Good job with use of music to tell this story!

  • hotdamn!

was that exactly how it happened in the play? I don't remember some parts...

  • Genius!!!

    Just purely genius

  • there was an easier way to left the girl know if she is or is not what she thought she was. Just ask her - how do you say Hello ... in Arameic?

  • awkword aint seen nothin lik this

  • REAL JESUS OWNS!!!!!!!!

  • please can you do a part 2 of this movie? please!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • That was genius. In almost every aspect. It does put a twist on thinking. In a good way no doubt.

  • Ok that was really Weird :( *sniff ...

.. i cry for the little girl *sniff ..

  • OK that was Weird ... ok ... so she died? :'( *sniff

but she had faith ... d little girl almost made me cry :(

live on little girly .. live on and be free :) *sniff

  • That was sweet. I FKNG AM JESUS! I love that part. lol

  • wow. amazing. im Christian and i liked it. good work. sad but good.

  • Disturbing very disturbing.

  • creepy

  • THAT was incredible!

  • oh my god!! is this real? poor girl!

  • No, it's from a play called The Pillowman. This little bit is supposed to be a kid's story believe it or not.

  • Lol is this real.

Its a play dude, by maritn mcdonough and this is one of the stories told in it. Good to see you disney fans have some cluture ms montana.

  • hey man whats the song at the end...it just suits the theme of this awesome scene..

  • Boy that Martin is one sick puppy, sure

  • This scene is so perfect. I saw The Pillowman at the curve recently and was somewhat sceptical as to how this would translate into video, but you just made this work so well. The use of music was amazing.

  • This is exactly what a fanatic should feel. Oh man does pillowman creates such brilliance,

  • You gotta love Martin McDonagh :-P

  • OOOOOHHHH DARK!

  • Bitch! I AM fucking Jesus! Hahaha, you tell 'em.

  • So amazing, it's if anything our generations best fairy tale ever written. Such brilliance

  • Jesus doesn't cuss!!

  • OHHH MYY. This scene is hella scary. I Played

the Little girl with Berkeley Rep. & It was

some serious shtttuuf. This play is bout hella

good though, No matter how disturbing .!

  • no way that was you? nuts!

  • Brilliant! I've been dying to direct this play from the first time I read it. Amazing writing!

  • lmao "who haddent informed that they were abusive on the form"

  • My highschools performing this play next week.

i play the little jesus girl,

    quite twisted but im excited:]]

our blocking is based more off the way they did it in the broadway performance that was in ny a while back.

  • this is completely and utterly the opposite of what type of videos i would watch on youtube. but plainly, wow.

  • I thought your direction style was brilliant. This part of Pillowman always seemed really messed up to me...and this video seemed kinda funny at times instead of horrifying and creepy. Other than that fact, good job!

  • I just saw The Pillowman at Kansas State University performed as an acting practicum and I thought the play was brilliant, thanks for this little tidbit of a film project from the scariest thing I've ever seen on stage.

  • Very good/heartwarming and in some parts funny video! Why no credits to the actors in this? Who is the little girl? Who played her parents/foster parents?

  • im in this play; and its a very good play, but i just dont like your interpretation.

  • wtf lol wtf lol wtf lol wtf lol wtf lol

  • I couldn't stop watching this video.

The narrator and the girl had great performances.

  • thanks for posting this! My University theater program is doing this this semster and I've never seen anything from it before... awesomeness! Well, not the end result of the story (how terrible!) but the acting was amazing!

  • nice video

  • Saludos, quisiera saber si alguien tiene el texto completo de "The Pillowman" en español o en inglés. Gracias.

  • It makes me sick to the stomach. I saw this play in Atlanta. Mind Blowing! Great video!

  • This video ROCKS! i totaly fell in love with it.

  • great narrator!

  • Fuck damn- the theatre company near me put this on recently- I adore this play! I adore this story! I adore them all- thanks for doing and posting this. It's greatly appreciated.

  • This is amazing. We are doing this at the theater that I work at and I am totally excited. You did a friggin amazing job of brining this to life.

  • if you told me both song titles i'd be greatful =)

  • Yeah, the first song I surreptitiously stole from the soundtrack to a little-seen German film called "Good Bye Lenin." The song is called "Summer 78" composed by Yann Tierson. It's a gorgeous soundtrack.

Then there's a little instrumental piece at about 2:00 minutes...I completely forget where this came from.

The third song, starting around 3:45, is one of my favorites -- "Dylan Pt. II" by Akron Family & Angel of Light.

  • Good Bye Lenin of course! I knew I'd heard it somewhere before - it made watching this all the more hauning for me!

Akron Family is an awesome band... thanks for that, and keep up the good work.

  • What's the meaning behind this play?

  • i really am in love with this play it is truly amazing

  • OMG! i love this play. i was just in it as the little jesus, tortured michal and the green girl.

  • Wow, what is this "story". What are you trying to say? Are you trying to say Christianity is futile? That we are kidding ourselves? I'm sorry, I'm blonde, explain it to me.

  • This is a story told in the play "The Pillowman"

  • I love this play, thank you for making this.
