I learned alone, never used any aid, and never eaten dirt. the best way to learn is to do it as it is intended to be done, if you use aid, your evolution will be slower.
I'm not afraid of falling but I am wondering what can help me pick it up faster. I just started yesterday but I found that making the rope shorter makes it easier, is that a good idea?
@K2Tanner by rope do you mean the slackline? yes, if it is shorter it is easier to walk! and of course, if it is more tensioned it will get easier aswell!
=)...i started with two sticks (the one u normally use for skiing =D)...was also a great help and you have the "stabilisator/rescue-thing" in every hand and not just in one as this one...
