An amazing, ethereal, and enchanting troubadour song! Listening to the other versions of this exact song and then Ali's- I prefer no other voice than hers!
I love this piece so much. This is my first time hearing a contemporary version. Occitan is such a beautiful language to boot. Congratulations on a great recording. her voice is perfectly suited for it, thanks for posting this:)
This is my favorite troubadour song. I would also suggest the versions by Angels of Venice and Sinfonye, but I think Azam Ali did the best comprehensive job with this piece.
@GoldenAwakening On the Angels of Venice version, it's actually Azam Ali who's singing the introduction, although it's a few keys higher and with a faster tempo. The Angels of Venice jacket actually credits Azam Ali on it.
Sublimo ! merci plô Azam Ali !

Ce n'est pas de l'occitan, puisqu'en panoccitan des nazis de l'IEO on dit "cantar".
La troubairis prouvençalo dizio "chantar".

In that time, the big dictionnary of poetry was "lo Donat proensal".
But, it is the true, the language was called too "Lemozi" (not "lemosin")
