  • my dad told me to look up this album, im not disapointed!!

  • Brings back kick ass memories of growing up. Thanks for posting.

  • amazing solo

  • This album came out just as I was dumped by my girlfriend at the time.... It holds a special place in my heart because of the way the songs were written "just for me"... all of my moods captured in one album! Sabbath were always, and will always, be something extra special, and this album their most special - even if it is a little less "out there" than their other works

  • They started the 80"s hair bands!

  • -THE SOUND OF THIS ALBUM WAS EXCELLENT!

  • my God sabbath is just awesome

  • this is my funeral song!!!hahaa naw...these vox are fuckin sick!the riffs the keys the drums & bass..this song was made to b playd full blast!!!!

  • i sooooo cant wait to hear what Rick Rubin does with these guys in the studio!!!!!!!!!!

  • I like to meet the man who produced this album and shake his hand, but the rest goes to Sabbath!...great album!!!

  • This song just kicks some ass !!!

  • if their's a god up there well , I hope he help's me', I need him now to set me free...

  • Excellent guitar work by Iommi. In fact probably one his best solos out of all his works with Sabbath.

  • Technical Ecstasy was a great album. A more mainstream sound than the heaviness of old, granted, but nonetheless brimming with good songs. But it sold poorly and seems to have gained a reputation as something of a turkey over the years. But there is some scorching fretboard work from Iommi on this track.

  • Beste vom Bestem

  • I like the lyrics here. Great fuckin' rock song.

  • This album has always been overlooked, except by true Sabbath Heads!!!

  • Nobody can change me......

  • SABBATH..AT IT'S FINEST!!

    oxox

  • i hope 30 years from now everything just hops back into the 70's and 80's wouldent that be incredible

  • @TheStormman95

errrrr, no, but those who don't acknowledge the past, are destined to repeat it.

Your dream might very well come true.

  • This song is so powerful, dammit!

  • THE TEAM OF OZZY WITH IOMMIS OFF THE HOOK LEADS MAKES IT A TRUE MASTERPIECE

  • A perfect Dirge!this may be my favorite can their be a favorite Sabbath song?

Depends on your mood I would think

  • I just had an experience

  • sabbath forever!!!!

  • Ecstatic

  • I'd like to know what possessed somebody to include meta tags for "rap" and "indie rock" for this song.

  • @bigheadfred it was to attract attention so all the hipsters and the wannabe gangsters can discover real music

  • @bigheadfred WTF IS INDIE ROCK??DOES THAT COME WITH A TURBIN??LOL

  • FUCCCCCKKKKK DIO!!!!

  • @Rcarroll15 hahahaahahahahahaha i laughed my ass off ,but man it's such a mean comment, dio was a legend!

  • @KlaritzisKaiPaoktzis

Idk some people appreciate that guy.. I on the other hand did not enjoy hearing black sabbath turn in michael jackson metal.. the moment he took over vocal arrangements...

Anyways Techincal Ecstasy is amazing.. Dirty Women has to have one of the best outros in a rock song ever... its like free bird.. minus the fact Iommi was obviously the sole guitarist and he layered soooo well

  • @Rcarroll15 you say dio to fuck off ,ok?then what would you say to axl rose or justin "fuckin" beaver?

  • @KlaritzisKaiPaoktzis O R CARROL INE MEGALOS mlks mallon dn exei akousei kan ton DIO

  • @Rcarroll15 Agreed. Ozzy era Sabbath is the only Sabbath I listen to. And theyre coming back in 2012. Can't fucking wait. All hail the greatest musicians to ever form a band!

  • thank you b sabbath !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • do any of you know what it's like to lay in the middle of a street unconscious for hours until, through some miracle, you mother finds you and rushes you to the hospital where you're then pronounced dead, but then revived? To have to learn how to walk again? To have to learn how to talk again? And to be completely illiterate for years? I do. This album means a lot to me.

  • I really loved this album back then and even more now!

  • Should've been played live

  • I bought this album in 1977 or 1978 along with their Never Say Die album. They don't make music like this anymore.

  • Great album, it's my favorite, yes i said it :)

  • Nothing compares to Sabbath

  • @flathead59 exactly

  • Certainly the most emotionally powerful Sabbath song.

  • This may well be my favorite of all their Albums....the Lyrics and Musicianship is tops and Guitar work is unbelievably exquisite!!!

  • They always were and will always be my favorite band and I was born in 73!!!!

  • yes and they all sound different thats why they were the greatest

  • Organ sounds like Alice Cooper's "KILLERS" album sound.

  • they not fail here either. full stop.

  • In parts of this song the guitar is being played so fast you cant even tell whats going on lol crazy. I LOVE TECHNICAL ECSTACY!

  • Critics blasted this LP in '76, I was 16 then and bought it anyway and it was a good LP then and sounds better 35 years later...just a more polished Sabbath. Rock/Metal in '76 was different than in '72...UFO, Rush, Thin Lizzy, Scorpions and others were still backseat bands to Zepp, Sabbath and Aerosmith at that time and many of the above bands were just coming into their own. But the 2nd metal wave was already happening and Sabbath was right there with them ahead of the curve. It still rocks!!!

  • @morleygrey Critics blasted every album that Sabbath did.

  • i use to like this album,

  • this was one of my favorite obscure classics when i was i junior high and bought the album new -- this kind of music will ALWAYS sound better than the "idol-like" junk being put out these days

  • @akibubba1 SOO many good tunes for one band to put out over the last 42 years! Wow, these guys have always been my all around fav band.

  • @iambri1965 agreed in-deed !! also in my top 10 all-time bands - they could pull off most anything, from super heavy to ballad, and put thier own unique sound into it.

  • @akibubba1 Another totally Killer band similar to Sabbath from Florida around 1970 was called BANG. (The American band) never made it big but wow they were good! They can be googled.

  • @iambri1965 thanks, my friend - i'll be sure to check them out !

  • great song and great album.

  • Thank you Black Sabbath for making this song.
