  • wow...vocal very close to lennon's own. maybe technically better, who knows...

  • John's voice is like... THE SAME! really liked them :)

  • The guy doing Paul has a fantastic voice. Wow! Nice job as usual. Best cover band ever.

  • @iluvjpm i <<have a signature from him!!

  • The guy doing Paul should try to play the bass left-handed, then the authenticity would be complete. They sounded great, though. When I first saw them I thought they were the real thing (Y'all did, too. Don' lie!).

  • My dad went to one of their concert yesterday and told me he thought there was standing Paul McCartney himself on the stage :-)

  • Man if the guy that plays Paul would just learn to play left handed you guys would have it down. But Im enjoying it anyway. Real good job guys. Its hard to play music that is so imbedded in our memory that we can remember every note and every harmony and each guys voice. I can even remember which song comes next on all their albums.

  • their voices blend well....they are really good.

  • WOW!!!! I LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOVE!

  • This is good :D

  • Ringo is also left handed but being he was the drummer a tribute band can somewhat get away with that visual but not the base.

  • Right handed base player. No go. This is as critical visually as harmony is musically. It does not look right for the Hoffner to be facing in the same direction as John and George's guitars. McCartney is not right handed and any tribute band that pays attention to detail cannot ignore that. If you grew up with them/are a true fan this does matter. I can't stress enough how much this does matter.

  • @pavlikj who cares hes playing the way paul played. thats the main thing. I saw them live yesterday. They were great

  • i didnt remember that george harrison was so tall, shit

  • Those arent the beatles...

  • @sacramentolove who said it was?

  • @viceisthename The title... But now I get it....

  • @sacramentolove Okay

  • Beatles light, I'm sleeping

  • No good with a right handed Paul : (

  • buen tributo, intrumentos, vestuario, movimientos, felicitaciones, yo tengo una banda en Ecuador, se llama The Buitres

  • I'm sorry but the drummer here is awful. Doesn't have the same energy as Ringo.

  • he sounds like jhon =D

  • el paul tiene muy buena vos

  • he sounds just like john lennon.

  • no he doesn't :)

  • they are fab actually.

  • geniales son como si los beatles siguieran lml

  • wtf is the Rickenbacker doing in the background? Ticket to ride was played on that by Harrison. very poor...

  • @poginho

we are picky, aren't we? ;)

  • @poginho - whe nthe beatles played this song live george used a six string, so i guess its being faithful to a live beatle performance

  • Just watched a bunc of Cavern Beatles videos. This is a little tired sounding. John once called this the original heavy metal song. This sounds more like muzak.

Fred-you should change your name to Captain Obvious.

  • these guys are fabulous!!!

  • Needs to be a little faster!

  • @ilikefred101

    everybody knows that

  • saw these on saturday night in pershore, fantastic night although i think george might have smoked an exotic woodbine in the break

  • john looks & sounds the closest

  • Parece el disco original, que fantasticos estos tipos, como vinieran a Peru!

  • Type in youtube Bee Gees Ticket To Ride

The Bee Gees did some good versions of this and other beatles soungs and actually could sound like them. No joke.

  • there is just no energy in this performance. at all. I know that no-one can match the beatles live but still.

  • Great job on this. Nobody, not even the Beatles could replicate the 'energy' of this record live. This is as close as I've heard it done.

  • The only person who actually gets into it is the drummer at 1:16

    they are like robots

    hahaha

  • that guy sounds almost like the real deal but the harmonies sound different

  • no they do not

  • the guy that does John sounds very good a close to perfect match !!!!

  • VERY PERFECT!!!

  • gd version just a bit static and not enough energy in the performance

  • "George" should have used the Ric 12 on this one. He'd have a closer and more accurate sound.

  • when the beatles played this song live george used the 6 string, only 12 string on the record because he had to do that little solo bit after the middle 8 which wasnt on 12 string, because paul played it on the record

  • They sound quite good but I think, compared to the real thing , they behave as if they are on tranquilizers!

  • crowd sounds like they are tranquilizers too,lol

  • Paul played left handed pff...

  • *plays

  • Yeah thanks but don't need you to correct me !

  • Paul doesnt sing like Paul and is right handed. They are still good but that Paul should learn to be more like Paul

  • god dang it paul needs to be left handed to be paul god does anyone get that

  • for me the fact that "Paul" is right-handed kinda ruins it for me... it just isn't right.

  • The Paul shouldn't be underestimated. He often sounds just like Paul.

  • And the accent is a little bit diffent too, but indeed, one of the bests Lennon covers...

  • the Lennon´s voice is more stronger, and lennon sing with his nouse. But this guys souds good.

  • Good band, i saw them at market hall in south wales not so long ago, and the george had that 12 string Rickenbacker in the background, and used it once! He didn use in the most essential songs... including 'A Hard Days Night' !! How cud you not use it ? Thats the crutial suond for the song ! Overall good band, even tho tuned down a step, and when i saw them they eitha had a new john or a stand in ? :D peace :)

  • LennonMcCartneyBeat, you're right, Eddie has now left so they have a new John Lennon. I doubt he's as good though!!

  • The only one of them that is any good is the one being John. The others aren't anything special.

  • The Paul doesn't sing very much like Paul, but you got a very good John. :)

  • THE BEST JOHN LENNON YET!!!!

  • I love them ¡¡¡¡¡

Johns sings in the same way ¡¡¡¡

listen the THE CAVERN BEATLES - NORWEIANG WOOD

  • voices fine, notes good, nice compenetration... but smth missing!more energy!

  • no it's the screaming girls , now we can actually here what it would of sounded like !!!! lol

  • yes... hehe....

  • Good but not as good as the bootleg beatles

  • Damn! They are so awesome!!!

  • Feet apart now John!

  • aaaahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!! look it's them and still the same as they was before they was... go on wayve as in good bye

  • ahaha, the help movie :)

  • Have to say these guys are are a sa a a a ad lot and to think they even have day jobs... But hey maybe they'll catch on and make a bundle... Hey Beattle you like gold...? Give me a shotgun bar with a pool table and a house band and you'll hear the truth as for these twits we'll just turn the sound down and sing along... Rudely TaTa

  • right handed paul?

  • amazing!!!!!!!

    i love it

    =)

  • Overall, its good. Ringo is playing most of the song wrong though. All three verses have different drum beats. He is playing the first verse pattern all the way through. He is also playing eighth note kick drum after the little guitar riff that comes back into the verse that are not on the record. Otherwise, I'm impressed.

  • they are good but to do a "Beatles tribute" ( which I know this is one...1. paul needs to more of his head bobble. 2. ringo looks too stiff behind the drums 3. John's stance is to square. george is fine. lol other than that paul sounds real accurate. john needs some work on harmonizing but really well done mates

  • I thought of it as the other way. "John" was great but this "Paul" needs to work on harmonizing.

  • wow that sounded like them... O__o uncannily...

  • ...Incredible. I mean just WOW!

Thought the big part was that they had Johns part down with that guy (hes 100% right on, looks n sound) but they have Pauls covered like 90%, sounds almost right on the mark, but plays righty.

    Neat stuff!

  • They're just amazing!!!

  • very good.

just a remark on tempo of the drummer, it is not good, Ringo was better!!

  • The "Paul" needs to work on the harmonizing

  • The real Beatles are WAY better.

  • Well no shit -_-

  • Where can I get this concert on dvd. I would love to get my hands on the whole concert!!! Please let me know

  • great, but i think the paul had a little too much fun. then again, mccartney was always having fun :)

  • Their John is short

  • he is quite short i saw them last night they ROCKED , john is so small but george is HUGE

  • the real john was only 5'10..

so i think the George made John look real short.

  • if he's got a rick 12 string behind him why the hell is he playing this on his Gretsch ??? insane !

  • George's part was originally played on a 1961 Strat, so a Gretsch is closer than a 12 string 360.

  • I disagree kimaster. The part being played here by this "George" was in fact played by 2 ric 12 strings Georges 360/12 & johns 325/12. The lead breaks were played by Paul on his casino. If George used his strat (tho there is no evidence to say for certain he did) it was only incidental parts, which leads me to my original point of why not use the 12 string for this very obvious 12 string part ?

  • Seriously, these guys have nothing on the tribut band called "Rain: The Beatles Experience"

I went to their concert a few days ago. It's awesome, they start off with 60's era beatles songs and looks, and move into Sgt. Peppers...looks/music...then 70s beatles. it's soo awesome

  • You wanna go see a good Beatles band? Check out The Fab Faux.

  • The Bootleg Beatles are super live, even the late George Harrison was spooked out by how close they were.

  • Yeah I've seen those guys. I honestly think that they're the best ones who actually go the whole 9 yards and do the whole act. and I respect that. However, The Fab Faux just plays the music, and personally I prefer that more.

  • Hell yeah, iv'e seen the Fab Faux at the Liverpool Beatle convention, the way they reproduce the sound is amazing.

  • the cavern beatles' george played at the concert for george.

  • bravissimi.... john e paul gli somigliano pure...

  • i live right near buxton and i watched it on the same day

  • wheres stu?

  • Yeah, once is more than enough andybass.

  • You told that many times :)

  • That takes me back, I used to brush that stage when I was a cleaner at buxton theatre, early days!
