Thx. Actually "Evi"l is a pretty cool song and it's rockin'. I guess that Yaffa was playing on the album and the "new guy" is on bass, when they make this video. I remember that Jetboy was some movie soundtrack and the end credits of the film..
And the same hour was there a great earthquake, and the tenth part of the city fell, and in the earthquake were slain of men seven thousand: and the remnant were affrighted, and gave glory to the God of heaven.
@ supportAZ, so is elvis's "that's all right mama", chuck berry's "maybelline", jerry lee lewis' "whole lotta shakin"', and many other of the songs that literally define rock n' roll...
i remember a poster of these guys in a 1989 issue of hit parader magazine. i figured back then they were some sort of a punk band that decided to transition to mainsteam hard rock, they didnt have the term hairbands back then. i wasnt really interested in hearing they're stuff back then,i was too much into metallica, ozzy, and guns and roses. i just started checkin em out through yt and i guess my assumption back then might've been somewhat correct ? They do appear to have been a punk band once.
So I decided to check this band out seeing as they're opening for Michael Monroe at a show I'm going to next week. They hella remind me of LA Guns for some reason...
fuckin right the fuck on! this is the shit from the eighties that made the eighties what they were all these fuckin emo kids always shoot off remarks" about buttrock" but theyll never know how rock was in the days of fast cars, fast women and lots of ye-yo!
loved the whole album when it came out even loved it more extremly loud on my pioneer sx 1280 pumpin through a pair of sansui sp 3500s we had it so loud one night the light fixtures fell out of the ceiling those were really some good times !
Oh! It's Sami Yaffa is it? Thought i recognised the guy's face as being an 'important somebody in rock'. Hell, man.. this song is kick ass! Is there anything cooler than this?? That singer has a hell of a stage presence and as for his wild hair?! Just fucking A.
Yeah, this song stands the test of time, unlike a lot of the others from this era. The classic riff, great groove, solid rock vocals, and lyrics about loving rock n roll - what's not to like!
Can't count how many times I saw these guys between 87-88 in the Inland Empire. Wherever they were, I WAS! Loved "Snakebite" the best! And oooohh Mickey! MMMMM!
I saw Jetboy at UCLA for free, must have been '87 or '88. Even then they impressed me with their image and sound. A great band and a great 80's anthem! Thanks for posting.
great SF band. Billy Rowe is a great guy!!!! Met him when we were 16, when they were looking for a singer. Hung out at Piss Alley (next to the Mabuhay Gardens). I loved those days!!! Jet boy, Sea Hags, Sybil, Micki Shields, Mister Hyde, Lexy (Lipstick Addiction, Nag Nag Nag, Goodbye Gemini, Pirates of Venus, SF Dogs, Bourbon Deluxe, Antja Mimes, were all great SF Glam bands!!!!!
Yeah I heard this song on the She's out of control movie. I thought the chorus said "Feel the snake". Since he was dating his daughter and wanted her hand on his snake he could then bone her to an awesome rock song. lol
Thx. Actually "Evi"l is a pretty cool song and it's rockin'. I guess that Yaffa was playing on the album and the "new guy" is on bass, when they make this video. I remember that Jetboy was some movie soundtrack and the end credits of the film..

Cool, Sam Yaffa on base. I wonder if they had any better songs. 'cos this one sucks and it is crap. Sorry..
71Juhana 1 week ago
@71Juhana Song "Evil" from their next album is probably their biggest "hit"... Yaffa left the band after that album...
