@maxslusher "Stickshifts and Safetybelts" is from Fashion Nugget, which was done with their old guitarist Greg Brown. Interesting how Xan just took over and and has since managed to blow us all away =D

"Love You Madly" is from Comfort Eagle.

On a completely unrelated note, Fashion Nugget and Comfort Eagle are my two favorite Cake albums =D

Btw, I model this kinda sound in my guitar playing, and anyone who's looking for a good way to obtain this tone, All you really need is a good semi/full hollowbody guitar and a Fender Hot Rod Deluxe, or a Fender Hot Rod Deville. Keep the master and volume at about 2, with the drive at about 8. Treble and presence at 8 and 9 respectively, bass at 7, middle at 4. Reverb at about 2 or 3. It works perfectly for me ;D Good hunting!

Usually the local gigs are spontaneous, with only a few hours of warning beforehand. I did catch them at the Filmore for the Bill Graham benefit concert in January. It was my first time seeing them on a REAL stage outside of the bar....so AWESOME!!!!!!!
